A new audiotape from al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden will be aired today on the Arabic news station al Jazeera, the organisation claims.

Nope. I am saying your propaganda includes not a small amount of hyperbole.

Losing an entire area of the country only cause a slight stumble in the nation's progress.

I did misread both comments. As a former teacher of English, I would ask that each of you take more time before you hit the "post" button.

East, you clearly did not use any antecedent for the word, "that." Star, you clearly did not punctuate your sarcasm so that it could be understood as sarcasm. I don't mean to sound petty or be part of the grammar police, but I did not perceive Star's comment to be "clearly sarcasm." I would never have responded the way I did if I had.

I do believe that Star's comment concerning the 1000 years of recovery after an atomic attack is part of what I was addressing.

I'll go back to my reading and sit quietly from now on. Please forgive me. (This last paragraph is sarcasm.)

The thing about the Muzzies is that they consider themselves Muslims rather than members of any country. Many feel that if you injure a Muslim anywhere in the world, you injure all Muslims.

They are totally irrational. Think about it. Mohammad was one of the biggest con men of all time. Supposedly, he got all these revelations in a dream. No one else witnessed Allah, the angels, etc., no miracles. The religion hasn't progressed and 1.2 million raving lunatics follow it.

You really believe a Nuke can still be smuggled IN to our country? Well fine, we can make a wager right here, I will donate $1,000 to FR if a Nuke is smuggled in and goes off.

In the meantime, if YOU are right, than, if you see a bright flash of light like the sun, where the sun isn’t, fall to the ground! The heat will be over in a second. Then there will be two blast waves, one out going, and one on it’s way back. Don’t stand up to see what happened after the first wave; anything that’s going to happen will have happened in two full minutes.

If a nuke is smuggled in and set off, they will be low yield devices and will not level whole cities. If you live through the heat, blast, and initial burst of radiation, you’ll probably live for a very very long time. Radiation will not create fifty foot tall women, or giant ants and grass hoppers the size of tanks. These will be at the most 1 kiloton bombs; that’s the equivalent of 1,000 tons of TNT.
