I did misread both comments. As a former teacher of English, I would ask that each of you take more time before you hit the "post" button.

East, you clearly did not use any antecedent for the word, "that." Star, you clearly did not punctuate your sarcasm so that it could be understood as sarcasm. I don't mean to sound petty or be part of the grammar police, but I did not perceive Star's comment to be "clearly sarcasm." I would never have responded the way I did if I had.

I do believe that Star's comment concerning the 1000 years of recovery after an atomic attack is part of what I was addressing.

I'll go back to my reading and sit quietly from now on. Please forgive me. (This last paragraph is sarcasm.)

You know, maybe these people you are correcting are like me. Maybe we all went to public schools. Maybe, our public school teachers should have been better at their job. Please do not discourage people from posting by ridiculing their typing and/or spelling and/or grammar rules. Forget about we people you can not fix and go back to school and do something about the ones you can fix.
