Just a reminder: Free Republic is a conservative site

Posted on 04/11/2006 3:33:35 AM PDT by Jim Robinson

Just a reminder: Free Republic is a conservative site. We fight for conservative principles, values and causes. We defend the Constitution. We defend our borders. We defend our God-given rights. We are opposed to the liberal/socialist/Marxist agenda for America. We do not willingly give up ground to the Marxists.

It's true that the illegal immigration issue is very discouraging, and I don't know if anyone has a solution that will appeal to conservatives and yet manage to get by Democrat obstructionism, ie, a filibuster, but I don't see that as any reason to give up everything. We should not allow it to rip us apart and destroy the movement. We fight on.

We hold the majority. We continue working as hard as we possibly can to elect as many conservatives as we possibly can. We build a conservative majority that can overcome the Democrats and the RINOs. We do not willingly give up any seats to Democrats. We add seats. Preferably, conservative seats.

I would also like to remind everyone, that Free Republic does not condone racism and does not advocate violence. We exercise our first amendment rights to free speech and peaceable assembly. We do not condemn people because of their race, religion, ethnicity, skin color, etc. We do not advocate civil war, anarchy, or an overthrow of the government. We do not advocate shooting illegals or mining the borders. We do not appreciate people coming across our borders illegally, but as conservatives, we do not issue racial epithets or threaten them with violence or bodily harm.

And, yes, we are at war. And we do support our troops and their mission. We also respect our commander-in-chief and are mindful that when people disrespect him, it hurts troop morale. We do not appreciate the mainstream media's attempts to destroy America's will to fight and we do not do anything to assist the Democrats and their accomplices in the media in their treasonous mission of undermining the war effort by providing aid and comfort to the enemy.

And despite our dissatisfaction and disappointments in regards to the illegal immigration issue, we recognize that it is not the last issue on earth and there are plenty of other reasons not to allow the Marxist Democrats to retake power.

I'll list a few issues (by no means and exhaustive list) that will be adversely affected by Marxist/Democrats in power:

Islamofascism/terrorism
National Security/Defense
The United Nations (as in their control over us)
The Supreme Court
The federal judiciary
The legislative agenda
The right to life
Marriage between one man, one woman
The family
Education
Health care
Private property
Taxation
Oil/energy
The right to keep and bear arms
The right to freedom of religion
The right to self-governance
All of our God-given rights
The Constitution
The Republic
Liberty itself

Do not get so discouraged that we give it all up. It could take generations to get it back. If ever.

"Securing the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity" is our duty.

Karl Marx proposed a theory that societies will evolve from capitalism to socialism to communism - the ultimate Utopian goal.

That he did.

Marx got it backwards though (most likely on purpose).

Communism and Socialism grew out of the feudal system and monarchy. A great example of that is France. They never recovered from their revolutions after the fall of the House of Bourbon and Napolean. Another example is China...

Jean-Jacques Rousseau advocated the ‘noble savage’ idea - - a return to primitivism. He was really the father of Marxism. (Note the neo-Pagan primitivism of the Left.)

Thomas Hobbes, and the later John Locke, are philosophers who built upon philosophical ideals from Mosaic Law that are the basis for Modern Western Civilization. Rousseau establishes a philosophical basis for Marxism.

The rhetoric of Marxists in politics often use the idea of a “social contract” (which is stolen from Rousseau) and the term itself to promote the quasi-religious ideals they worship. Marxists, in a sense, worship the ideals of a dead Karl Marx like some Christians worship the image of a dead Jesus. The political Left often holds to the view of Rousseau, cited above. They eschew the advancement of science and of the arts. It is no wonder that in their pursuit to dominate academia, that the decline of education in the West has been a victim of the political Left. Is it any wonder that the modern Left opposes U.S. military action in the war against terrorism, hates the Jews and Israel, as well as supports the Palestinians and terrorism?

The proliferation of psychics, seers, soothsayers, healers, gurus, UFO cults, conspiracy cults, witches, etc., etc., ad nausea, is a social psychosis, an occulted (or masked) promotion of Leftist propaganda.

_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-

Marxist these days don't want to be called Marxist just like many liberals don't like being called liberal. That doesn't change what they are.

They wear a mask much like the actors of ancient Greek drama. A well-placed Marxist will not generally make the open, identifying proclamation, they are of an occult nature.

Marxism and the numerous forms of Cultural Marxism is a religion, a collection of cults. In many cases they worship a dead Karl Marx like some (and I stress some) Christians worship a dead Jesus, and not a living God. This is no more apparent than in the practice of enshrinement and regular grooming of Lenin’s corpse in the former Soviet Union, the use of Princess Diana, Martin Luther King Jr. and other dead people. A Golden Calf.

Like the necromancy of the late Senator Wellstone’s funeral rally, or "funerally" (see the Steven Plaut article, The Rise Of Tikkun Olam Paganism, Arutz Sheva: December 27, 2002; in reference to the Wellstone brand of Judaism), the use of Martin Luther King Day, or constantly invoking the "spirit of the ‘60’s," the Left attempts to raise spirits of the dead as a totem for worship.

“New Age induces a benevolent relaxation that may be disabling in the face of aggression. In a world of terrorism, New Agers can only take to the hills and leave their scriptures in jars at Esalen.”

(Camille Paglia,Cults and Cosmic Consciousness: Religious Vision in the American 1960s, 10:1)

It is no coincidence Islamic pagans hate Israel, Jews, Christians and Western Civilization. The entire basis of Western Civilization is Mosaic Law, something both the Neo-Pagan Left and the pagan Islamic thugs cannot abide and wish to destroy.

Read some of the interviews that have been done with Bin Laden (ABC News interview with Osama Bin Laden). Compare it to the recommended rhetoric for Marxists to use to help bring about their “revolution” (Marxists.org).

What are some of the nine and sixty tribal lays prevalent in other countries that you believe are right, and that you believe we are arrogantly insisting are wrong and must be changed? Perhaps you could name 2 or 3 specific things you disagree with us about, so I have a better sense of what is offending you.

Do you believe that there are any barbaric customs in other countries that are worse in practice than our "barbarian" insistance on labeling some tribal lays as "wrong"?

Ask yourself from where Oztrich Boy's philosophical advocacy of primitivism and tribalism originates...

You could ask him that.

I've already asked him the question I am most interested in at the moment, and now am going off line.

We'll see if anyone is still left in Jim Robinson's flame free zone tomorrow night.

Here’s my wisdom for your use, as I learned it when the moose
And the reindeer roared where Paris roars to-night:—
There are nine and sixty ways of constructing tribal lays,
And—every—single—one—of—them—is—right!

Cultural Marxism...

Please show me where I even suggested disapproval of his country of origin. I asked if he's an American citizen. Is he?

Actually, you didn't. What you said was "You say your husband is “Mexican?” I was hoping he’d be an American. Are you?"

You're right about one thing though: My tagline does say it all, and it is 100% accurate. A person's nation of origin does not determine his race, and the words citizen and resident are not interchangeable. You can be a legal resident of this country without becoming a citizen. If you are going to use words to make a point, you should at least be sure you know what those words really mean.

Illegal, illegal, illegal, illegal!!! That's the key word. But you're hopeless anyhow because your tagline says it all.I'm tired of all the demagoguing of this issue. The lines are drawn.

The plain truth is that you cannot tell who is legal or illegal simply by looking. If you could, we would not have the problems we have now. Don't you think that my husband and people like him have suffered mightily at the hands of people like you, simply by virtue of looking like he might be illegal? He has been harrassed, denied work, and literally spit on. When you come up with a surefire way of differentiating legal and illegal at a glance, then you can talk to me. Until then, Adios, amigo. This conversation is over.

As you know, it is tough to be "extremist anti immigration" here in central CA. The nation's grocery basket begins being filled here,...

The use of illegals to pick crops on corporate agribusiness land is like a return to feudalism... it fits perfectly with the limousine liberal advocacy of economic socialism and cultural Marxism that dominate the state legislature in Sacramento and the perverts of Hollywood...

To all and those I may have missed
I was out of town all day yesterday for a funeral
so I did not cut and run after making a post

I wish I had phrased my first post differently.
My point which I admit I didn't make very well
in my first post to JR is not about creation vs Evolution.
It is about the "protectionism" provided by the mods to the evos on FR that no other group is allowed. Especially
Christians. If you don't believe it just read the threads
they are allowed to ridicule, make fun of and call
names that gets other suspended or banned.
Now I am through with this. Don't bother to reply
unless you feel the need to have the last word.

So you, and all evolutionists at Darwin Central, agree with the foundational belief of all conservatism... that we were endowed, by our Creator, with certain inalienable rights?

yes our creator.....

so what would that be????

would you leave that up to us to decide as we have freedom of (and from) Religion as part of our constitution guaranteed rights

or..............do you foist upon us YOUR views which you have determined the founders meant; ie the constitution freedom of religion only works for those who believe in YOUR concept of Christ (and no other belief in a creator be he/she Jew, Hindu or Rastafarian) and creationism.

full of yourself ain't ya!

My tagline does say it all, and it is 100% accurate.

Actually, about 50%...

I have been repeatedly told by some of my Hispanic friends and associates who speak the Western European language of Spanish and practice the European religion of Catholicism, that they are indeed either partly caucasian or mostly caucasian... (Cauc-asian.)

That ice bridge across the sea is where their “indigenous” ancestors crossed over into Alaska. Their European ancestors came with Cortez...

Just something to think about... if you decide to replace “caucasian” in your tagline with Anglo or Anglican to make it more accurate...

I will never vote for a Dem and I will never sit out an election to punish the Republicans.

I tried that with Clinton, hoping the 'Rats would self-destruct...
Not going there again!

At least something has been salvaged from the mess with the Supreme Court Appointments... A ray of hope in an otherwise dismal scenario.

That's not true, at least not since you have been RunningWolf. I don't know when it started when you were Mordo. Within a week of signing on as RW after you told off the mods and asked for your account to be stopped as Mordo, you were back to the same old belligerence. Nobody provoked you.

I need the last word:

I disagree. The mods tend to favor CRIDers, most who use ad hominem 'arguments' or flat out insults (if you are evo you are an evil Athiest).

EVos just get frustrated when our logical, science-based args are answered by mythology or philosophy. But frequently CRIDers go negative first with nary a sound from the mods.
