I disagree. The mods tend to favor CRIDers, most who use ad hominem 'arguments' or flat out insults (if you are evo you are an evil Athiest).
EVos just get frustrated when our logical, science-based args are answered by mythology or philosophy. But frequently CRIDers go negative first with nary a sound from the mods.

It is about the "protectionism" provided by the mods to the evos on FR that no other group is allowed. Especially Christians. If you don't believe it just read the threads
You are obviously subject to the Creationid meme that no lurker will have read previous Crevo threads ans won't have noticed that always somewhere in the first 100 posts some Creationid will declare "Darwinists are morally degenerate"
Well there are only two responses to that, and the one most favourable to continued courteous discourse is to ridicule, make fun of, as being not worthy of serious response.
I will take you at your word. You posted earlier on this thread the crevo threads should be left alone and you would bypass them in the future.
Very much appreciated! If some of the other folks here took your advice, this would allow us to discuss the finer points of the scientific merit of a posted article with fewer taunts, insults, "you are all atheists, "it's just a theory", etc. type posts.

Stupid. Absolutely, mind-numbingly stupid. "Evos," as you call them, are people who have an educated and, yes, secular point of view as regards the sciences. People such as yourself, who dismiss "evos," do so for RELIGIOUS reasons.
You, and all those who share your religious perspective, are entitled to your views and opinions. Folks who hold views like yours can and do post their opinions daily on FR. It seems, however, that you do not want people with viewpoints based in science rather than religion to enjoy the same free speech rights you enjoy.
The fact that you claim -- apparently with a straight face -- that Christians are somehow discriminated against on FR is laughable. What parallel universe to you live in that you could make such a claim? If anything, the sanctimonious, exclusionary Christians of your variety overwhelmingly dominate FR.
Just in case you and your ilk don't get it, "conservative" and "Christian" are not synonymous. The former is a political adjective while the latter is a religious one. Jim's opening sentence at the top of this thread makes it clear that FreeRepublic is a conservative website. That means everyone who holds a conservative political point of view is welcome here without regard to their religious affiliation, race, ethnicity, gender, etc.
The self-righteous are always convinced that their insults and ridicule are facts, and that their opponent's facts are insults and ridicule. How many times have we seen the world's scientists dismissed as feckless children or conniving greedy cowards? If you want to be treated politely, act politely.
