Actor Ben Affleck has made it very clear where his sympathies lie in the Leakgate affair -- and it isn't with the White House.
Appearing on HBO's "Real Time with Bill Maher," Affleck charged that President Bush "probably also leaked” CIA agent Valerie Plame's name and so "if he did, you can be hung for that! That's treason!” He continued: "You could be killed. That's not a joking around Tom DeLay 'I'll do a year, I bribed the state officials with corporate money.' That's like they shoot you in the battlefield for doing that.”
Affleck also called DeLay a "criminal."
More importantly, isn't it up to the executive branch of the government to decide what is and what isn't classifed? And the last time I checked, the President of the United States is the head of the executive branch, and his decision to declassify something would be perfectly legal.

Bush determines what can and can't be declassified, so he can't be judged to have leaked anything. The one exception would be an active agent in the field, but if he did that for national security reasons, he'd probably be justified and not guilty of doing anything wrong by doing so.
As for Tom Delay, you have to be convicted of something to be a criminal. Just because you have determined he's gulity, it doesn't make it so.

I'd care more and have more respect for my cat's opinion about political matters, but he refuses to comment. All of hollywood's dreck feeds at the same trough and their "opinions" are always so predictable and childish. As the untalented idiots that they are, who make their living parroting someone else's diologue, no one should expect them to have an intelligent, original thought about anything. They're like spoiled children who are dependent on their parents to make the ultimate good decisions for them that would benefit the country they are so fortunate to live in. I think he wants to use the term hanged. Hung refers to what some is and some isn't.
