The FBI broke up a ring that tried to smuggle Hezbollah operatives into the United States. In testimony Tuesday to Congress on the FBIs budget request, director Robert Mueller said most recent reports on terrorist smuggling do not pan out.
However, he identified one that did: This was an occasion in which Hezbollah operatives were assisting others with some association with Hezbollah in coming to the United States, Mueller said. That was an organization that we dismantled and identified those persons who had been smuggled in. And they have been addressed as well.
Mueller did not elaborate further, except to say that the ring had attempted to smuggle the operatives into the United States from Mexico

"the ring had attempted to smuggle the operatives into the United States from Mexico" Impossible. The Mexican border is not a strategic threat. We've been told by "them." So sit down, shut up, and take it.

I wonder why they tried to get in through the southern border?
Who do they think they are, Mexicans?

So was the FBI watching the border? Or was the FBI tracking these Hezbollah agents all of the way from Lebanon to Mexico?
Or did they just get a tip?
Well anyway, it's a good catch and a good job that the FBI caught them upon entry to the U.S. (gotta give credit where it's due).

"http://historysend.blogspot.com/2004/05/terror-triangle.html" It's a safe bet that we've been watching FARC and the Shining Path since the 1980's...perhaps even earlier.

This may be the ring operating out of Tiajuana with the help of Mexican Immigration officials that we (the US and Mexico) broke up last year.
I seem to remember posting/pinging articles about a Mid-East connection back then.

Maybe it works tit for tat: if terrorists help illegals in, then the illegals will help the terrorists in. After all,
the gringo is the common enemy.
