I'tiz! I am a Campbell on my mom's mom's side of the family! I certainly inherited the red hair, blue eyes and temper. They were a fierce bunch.
My aunt has traced us back to county cork
and records are prevelant in england. I forget if she traced to 1400 or 1100.
Some intersting charachters on the tree
The Scott lot. Cousins as clans go
I'll bet there were some interesting ones. I haven't gotten my Campbells back that far yet. They didn't keep very good records and I haven't found any living cousins to check records with. It's fun to play around with it, though.
Thanks :) that would be useful for me too.
Happy St Patrick's day to you too! :)
I am A-. I had no idea that so few people shared my blood type.
We had a family named Feeny that married to us that Id like to trace further
My Clan....cool, my.
They must tend to the conservative bent...I too am A-Neg.
That's an interesting name. Have you gone to the message boards at RootsWeb to see if anyone knows about your particular Feeny? That's how I found out about my Leverett side...I have many cousins that I never knew about and we e-mail info back and forth now.
Your father was on USS Tautog?
I rode sturgeon class subs as well.
Thanks, my.....I'll have to find some pipes when I get home.
