Baretta Tidbits

Baretta was an indirect spinoff of Toma (anyone remember Toma?). After Tony Musante left the show, Robert Blake was asked to step in, and the show was revamped into Baretta. Tony Baretta was an unconventional cop, streetwise with a decidedly funky lifestyle. He lived in apartment 2-C of an old run-down hotel called the King Edward, with his pet cockatoo, Fred. The orphaned son of poor Italian immigrants, Baretta was a master of disguise, which ability he used to infilrate gangs. The show had plenty of hard action, as well as comic relief provided by his dude informant friend, Rooster. The show made it into the Top Ten for the 1976/1977 season.

And, of course, many of you have heard about the troubles of one Mr. Blake, I’m sure.

That's the end of the ride for today. Please watch your step on exiting the time machine. Now that I've shown you a few, how about you share something from your memory. Or, if one of these were your favorite show then, share a memory of the best episode for you.

I'll bet there were some interesting ones. I haven't gotten my Campbells back that far yet. They didn't keep very good records and I haven't found any living cousins to check records with. It's fun to play around with it, though.

If Moshi was thinking about this a little bit, she would realize that not only is there a special area here on FR with html helps including playing with fonts, but her mother (hint hint) has been building websites for about 6 years and has more help files handily bookmarked, and more examples saved, that she uses right now:)

Of course, she could possibly be thinking of which of her poems or songs she could post as a nice pick-me-up for our brave troops and their families here at home!

Your dad's boat is retired from service but she did her time. SSN 639 May her rest be peaceful and her men be proud. IM or FReepmail me, I have an idea for a project for you.

Thanks to all of our wonderful troops who serve abroad and at home and to the families who hold them dear.

That's an interesting name. Have you gone to the message boards at RootsWeb to see if anyone knows about your particular Feeny? That's how I found out about my Leverett side...I have many cousins that I never knew about and we e-mail info back and forth now.
