FReeper Canteen ~ What's The Origin Of Your Screenname? ~ March 16, 2006

What is the origin of your screen name? Come tell us your story.... How'd ya choose your screen name? A situation in your life? Part of a song? Your Military service?
For me, it was three times I came across "Misbehavin" that decided it for me! I bought a blouse that had that on the tag... Then my MIL gave me a book about a cat called Ms.Behavin.. Then I heard the song "Ain't Misbehavin!"
So there ya have it! Have fun! Please, no politics in The Canteen.. We want our troops to rest, relax and relate!
Now tell us YOUR story!! |

Hello everyone! First things first:
Thank you to our most awesome military! You guys rock!
I haven't been here in about 2 weeks; vacation then all the work that didn't get done while I was gone! Don't think I'll ever catch up on all I missed, lol! But what a fun thread to come back to! Lets see, my screen name comes from my southern/country college, Emory and Henry College, and the fact that I am very proud of my Southern heritage!
The Kenny Chesey Caribean Cruise was a lot of fun! and well Kenny Chesney just puts on one heck of a show every time I see him. Came home with a bit of a sunburn but it was well worth it, lol. Just meant that I got of the cold for few days :)
Hope everyone is doing good!

Mine is unusual in that I chose the name of a character I was developing for a book I was wanting to write - figured it was unique enough that it wouldnt be too common. However, sometimes it gets mistaken for a reference to the Benedictine monk, Alcuin of York, who counseled Charlemagne.

Girl! You need to stay away from those places..they just get your blood pressure up and there's not a thing you can do to make the situation better.
It is my intention to get one to as many as possible...slowly but surely! ;o)
