I actually think it's all right under some circumstances for two men or two women to raise a child - like when the other choices are worse.
But its ridiculous to expect the Catholic church to place children in a situation where they think its both harmful and immoral.
I totally support them on this.

The baby killers and pedophile homosexuals are hoping mad at that they couldnt influence the church. Thank you Catholic Church for doing the right thing before God.

Couple of summers ago I went on a short-term missions trip to - Provincetown (speaking the Truth with Love - they will die in their sins unless they know the Truth, and the Truth shall set them free).
Pairs of homosexuals parading around their "trophy" children - it was sick and so sad.

Yup.
Unconditional and even imposed gay rights before the welfare of children. Sounds about right, doesn't it?
The Church cannot conform to a law it believes is immoral. This is a tough, likely unpopular stand, but they are standing on conviction. If the Church (and all churches, et al) stood firm like this often enough, the state would quickly find out what a bad idea is it to try and force religious organizations to adhere to practices it finds immoral or downright evil. More churches, et al, need to take these tough stands.
What follows is going to be worth keeping a close eye on.

You're not giving Beckel enough credit. After all, he "masterminded" the Mondale Campaign in 1984. It's not easy being that bad.
Seriously, it's a shame when the Church can't perform Christian duties without abandoning its values. i am very impressed by the new Boston archbishop. If he excommunicates Kennedy and Kerry, he will REALLY impress me.

If anything, it's clear that the Roman Catholic Church has just learned a painful lesson about what can happen if you do not zealously guard children from homosexual predators.
I do not believe this is a mistake they are likely to repeat.

I seem to recall a number of court cases recently where some representatives of the church were prosecuted for exactly that. I guess with this new policy they may be making amends.
To: gondramB
Why is that funny? He/She probably meant it was funny because of Cardinal Bernard Law and the issues of pedophile priests. By moving pedophile priests around the Catholic Church in Boston most certainly "placed children in a situation where they it was both harmful and immoral"
