The betrayal of America
The Augusta Free Press ^ | February 20, 2006 | Max Friedman

Posted on 02/28/2006 3:36:19 PM PST by EveningStar

This column is a rant, not a soft, cuddly piece of fluff opinion. It is going to tell the truth like you have never heard it before. To quote Jack Nicholson from the movie "A Few Good Men" - "You want the truth? You can't handle the truth" - but I'm going to give it to you anyway.

So, as your mother used to do to those of you readers who are old enough to remember, hold your nose and take your medicine, because the doctor is in, and he's operating with a chainsaw.

After 35 years in the news/journalism business, from D.C. to Vietnam, I can honestly say that most of the leading Democratic Party politicians and their far-left support groups are traitors to this country. Besides the few who are deceased or out of office, today's DP is loaded with leaders who have sold out this country to the communists, to the Islamofascists and to their egos. Others are just plain stupid, addle-brained and knee-jerk jerks.

(I'll get to the Republicans in a minute)...

Time for the real conservatives on FR,
be it Republicans, Independents or Democrats
(like Zell Miller and John O'Neill) to band together
and oust the looney left and RINO's

The "Politically Correct RINO's" on FR are the same group
who "swore"
klintoon, hitlery, hanoi kerry, sanbdi ber(bur)glar, al bore, jane beno,
would be prosecuted for
pardongate, chinagate, the bribes in upstate NY in the 2000 NY Senate race, waco, etc, etc,
"when" the "time was right".

Wellll, it did put almost every Republican in any sort of responsible position, into what could be only considered as a very bad light. As amatter of fact I've went through 100 response and not found one mention of GOP misfeasance or just plain ineptitude.

Frankly this gentleman put in print what many FReepers already knew. The difference is he's naming names and calling allegiances, both Republican and democrat.....

THIS is what the press should be doing, and he lays out a good scenario for why they are not.

I just happened to spot this on another forum and was surprised that it hadn't been posted here yet.

Is this an excerpt only site? If not why not post the entire article to save people the problem of having to go elsewhere to read it?

I do not believe that either of our two illustrious parties could exist for two months without the other.

Each and every time an article like this appears, I'm going to send money to a GOP candidate in a vulnerable district. I suggest all proper Americans on FR do the same.

When this becomes a mantra, watch how quickly these articles disappear.

I highly recommend this book. Horowitz makes the insanity understandable.

Ditto! I need to re-read it the way things are going.
