LizardLover228 (StarCMC's oldest son)
Posted on 02/21/2006 6:04:21 PM PST by MoJo2001
Hi! My FReepername is LizardLover228 and I am the son of StarCMC! First, I want to tell everyone in the military to keep on doing good even when it is tough. Thank you for fighting for us!
Today I want to talk about riding motorcycles in the woods. This is one of my hobbies. I have learned a lot from my dad.
One of my biggest tips is to always stand up in the jumps and in hill bottoms. This lowers your center of gravity and make the bike more stable. This is me and my motorcycle, a Honda 2002 80cc 4-stroke.
Here are some links to some cool motorcycle racing sites:
My favorite motorcycle rider is James "Bubba" Stewart. He is really fast and good. He rides in AMA Supercross and AMA Motocross races.
I hope you have enjoyed my thread today. If you have any riding tips I would love to hear about them. |

I've owned one Honda, it was '64 250 Scrambler and I rode it until '69 when I purchased a T350 Suzuki, I also had a '67 Maico dirt bike.

Good Morning troops! Good Morning everyone! I got all the materials for next year's course selection today. Then I got the stuff for my History term paper (I had just started on the Enlish one yesterday, so maybe it's this assign one, get one free kind of deal). My English teacher was also nice enough to hand me the guidelines for an essay due in a week (I was supposed to get it last week but for some reason I didn't). I was going to spend this coming weekend catching up in Science (one more chapter to go and I'm all caught up), but now I'll be spending it writing that essay which I could have written this past weekend had I known about it. ARGH! So, all English and school troubles and concerns aside, here is today's humor attempt!
A young man comes home and says "Dad, I just got my driver's license and would like to use the family car."
Father replies, "O.K., son. But, first, you have to get good grades in school, keep your room clean, make the yard is neat, and cut your hair. Come back in a few months and then we'll see."
Well, several months pass and the young man comes into the house with his report card in his hand. "Dad, I got great marks on my report card. I've been keeping my room as neat as a pin, and the yard is always ship-shape. How about letting me use the car?"
Father replies, "That's all true, but son you didn't cut your hair."
Son says, "But, dad, Jesus had long hair."
Father replies, "Yes, son, you're perfectly right. And he walked everywhere he went."

It's kinda hard to HiJack a Canteen thread, as long as you're either on topic or supporting our troops.
The way I see it, you're doing both.
Thanks much for your input...I'm sure the galz love it!

LOL!!!
Sorry I didn't respond right away -- hubby just showed up -- he's playing hooky and GOING FOR A RIDE! LOL
We don't have the silver FJR anymore -- we had traded it for a blue one and now we've traded that as well and have a 2005 Ducati ST4S. Gotta get some pics of that beauty!! We have also traded the R1 in for a newer model -- it's candy applered and gorgeous!!
The Harley in the last pic was a rental in FL.
Our first street bike was an Enduro style -- we rode it a LOT -- it was pertty hard on the back though as I got to wear a backpack with all our stuff in it since there were no saddlebage. Our first BIG bike was a Honda ST1300. It was sweet!! :o)
