Fetzer, Wayne Madsen, John McMurtry, Morgan Reynolds, and Andreas von Buelow, have concluded that senior government officials have covered up crucial facts about what really happened on 9/11.

They have joined with others in common cause as members of "Scholars for 9/11 Truth" (S9/11T), because they are convinced, based on their own research, that the administration has been deceiving the nation about critical events in New York and Washington, D.C.

These experts suggest these events may have been orchestrated by elements within the administration to manipulate Americans into supporting policies at home and abroad they would never have condoned absent "another Pearl Harbor."

They believe that this White House is incapable of investigating itself and hope the possibility that Congress might hold an unaccountable administration accountable is not merely naive or wishful thinking.

OK, quick metallurgy lesson. The steel didn't melt. When steel gets hot, its properties change. At high heat, steel will start to deform more and begin to loose its structural integrity.

Most of us has seen a car that has been burned. The temps in that car were much less than what the WTC had, but the steel left from the car fire is nowhere near as strong as it was before that fire. Imagine that happening to a building.

The WTC was built using truss (sp) construction. The failure pattern of the WTC is exactly what you would expect from such a failure. In fact, I am very impressed the structures held as long as they did!

I don't know...but I watched the 4 hour program on National Geographic and found it to be quite revealing. Lots of info came forward I'd never seen before.

The net of course was full of conspiracy on 911...for one the buildings COULDN'T collapse without bombs. This program explained it was all about jet fuel. Each plane that hit the towers plus the pentagon was FULL of fuel. After several hours of burning jet fuel in tower 1, the metals were weakened and collapsed that tower. The 2nd tower fall before tower 1 due to where it hit.

The pentagon was hit at such a high rate of speed plus all the jet fuel, there was very little left of that jet. Conspiracy claims it was a missile or a much smaller plane.

That program blew those theories out the window, IMHO.

If there's any conspiracy, the Democrats have more cause to be behind it.

Does anyone else remember what they were screaming right before 9/11? They were complaining that Bush was paying too much attention to nuclear arms and not enough to the possibility of a terrorist attack.

Then, when 9/11 happened, one Dem senator (Carl Levin) immediately gave the "we-told-you-so" response, like "This is what we've been warning all along..."

So, are we supposed to believe what we all watched on television with our own eyes never happened. Are we supposed to believe that the pile of rubble where the WTC certainly used to be was just an illusion. Are we supposed to believe that 3000 Americans are all in the witness protection program to assist in this "hoax." And most importantly, are we supposed to believe that after eight and a half months in office, that Bush was able to put this whole "hoax" together, and if so, for what purpose? Was all this to start the war with Iraq? The ware with Iraq was based upon Saddam's noncompliance with UN resolutions going back to 1990, if Bush was determined to go to war no matter what, he didn't need to do this.
