Effort underway to recall Governor Schwarzenegger
KESQ ^ | Jan. 20, 2006 | KESQ News

A grassroots effort has been launched here in California to recall Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. Schwarzenegger's election to governor is the result of another recall. In 2003, Californians recalled Governor Grey Davis.

We have local reaction to this effort to oust Schwarzenegger from office.

The group calls itself “Save California Now” and their website is recall2006.com.

They say they have 10,000 volunteers signed up, all with the same goal in mind: recall Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger before this year's November election. But locals aren't so sure a recall is feasible.

Nope -- CA GOP is not in a train wreck. Just some of the whackier alleged "conservatives" are in a trainwreck. They have no idea what they are bringing on. lol.

Arnold used his own money to give them what they asked for... and then the so-called "real conservatives" didn't even go to vote. Whereas, the rockribbed conservatives always vote. No matter what.

You really need to practice a little tact, your continued haranging on folks is tiresome and overdone.

I am in the latter group by the way, does that matter to you tho? I think not, so your comments will be taken for what they are , the hollow mutterings of someone who won't discuss the liberal agenda that the Gub also has brought, with gay and green appointments by the bushelful.

What is even sweeter is you also seem to support that too and not be concerned, how conservative of you.

Oh well.

Your words are more than revealing, they are part of a permanent record. tsk tsk.

Yes, I was here. I said I thought the thread was spam as it was found to be leftist dribble when it was posted at FR before. Was there something wrong with that in your opinion?

I just found a website where they are sharing a petition domain with MoveOn.org for this recall.

Yup, leftists!

KSFO in SFO had this tone deaf turkey on during the run-up to the special election! They pulled these guy's covers in a New York Minute!!!

At first they thought it just might be somehow legit, but boy o boy it didn't take long and the idiots were standin there naked as jaybirds in goose flesh shiverin in the hot light of TRUTH!!!

Now for unFairOpinionated to post this as some kind of legitimate thread and try to pin it on us is just more inordinate and inartful attempts at some kind of sick, fiendish torment that's far below what FReepers should be doing to one another!!!

I think it's time for a "shunning" of the first order!!! I will lead by example!!!

I can tell that your feelings are hurt, Norm.

And yes, you are no rockribbed conservative. I refuse to coenable your delusions and that you and your tag-team pals in FR represent or "speak for" the "really of the real" conservatives in CA. Your spin on Arnold is a lame.

I'll tell ya how I knew, right off the bat...and before I observed the rest of your strategeries..

Your pretense to speak for "real" conservative in CA. Sounds just like any other special interest group: "I speak for all women"... "I speak for all Blacks"... I speak for all gays".. I speak for all Latinos".

Then there was you and your tag-team's little grand mal attempt at asserting that anyone who doesn't PERFECTLY in lockstep agree with you is a RINO, or a BushBot.

Witness, again -- the special interest group usual rants: "Clarence Thomas, Ward Connerly are OREOS and because they don't march in lockstep with us." Or, feminists "Kate O'Beirne hates all women because she wrote that book".

And you don't think people lurking and here on FR (outside your organized group pals) don't see this about all of you?

They do.

Truth_seeker -- I pinged you to this, and because you were treated so abominably by this "group". You attempted reasonable debate with them.

Like I posted to another reply of yours,

if you and others pretend to speak for true republicans and conservatives as well and push and support those who push a liberal agenda , you are effectively outed.

Your folks seem to enjoy using broad brushes and then you complain that I am acting like I speak for all conservatives.

Well, Sweets, I speak for a helluva more conservatives and republicans than you and your posse pinged do, digest that... so delude on.

Oh, and our "organized" group is no less than yours if you want to go down that road.

But that's OK, support Pro-Choice and anti-2nd
Amendment candidacies, which is what the New Majority and others like you apparently don't mind being onboard with as well. You might want to re-read their mission statement in California.

If you and others want to keep up the personal attacks and such, keep it up, the nice thing is they are also there for all to see and not just my postings that you twist to your own ends.

This continuing haranguing here of conservatives is a sign of the desperation "conservative" folks like you have stooped to.

Tho, most are never able to beging to argue much less grasp the facts and debate the issues, most just get out the mud bucket and toss mud, that has been the most consistent pattern by the (M)ilk at FR.

No substance, lots of spin which you accuse me of. Spin more gay and green appointments than ever, more borrowing and debt than ever.

And you say we are the ones who are out of touch. LOL. You should write for Letterman, he needs folks who can come up with insults like that without ever thinking about the consequences.

You're a perfect example of folks who vote for a Q factor looking for an easy out and then have to coverup for their own inadequacies and then defend their choice as if t was the only option.

Ya can see where that gets trusting folks, We all can see that.

Your attempted spin didn't work.

But, alas.

In numerous, numerous posts, I've not once said I represented "all" or "real" -- as in the entirety of the conservative or republican voicings -- as you do, or your group does.

You and your pals cannot even "handle" anyone any person, any individual disagreeing with YOUR GROUP and IDEOLOGY and without same going off into slamming the individual with spin, ad hominem, etc.

And ya call yourself "conservative". Piffle.

piffle?

If I used the word to describe your displayed affiliation as you argue against some who don't cower to your offerings, I'd be banned. ;-)

Have I ever said I speak for All conservatives, nice try.

You infer a lot, huh, and also lose more and more ground as you keep trying to cover your tracks which are here for all to see.

and you and your pingees deal in Truths? lol

as they continue to sit on their hands while a liberal agenda is enacted by a guy and a gang who put Rs by their names. Sweet!

You are sounding very desperate, Norm. Must be rough to see all that sand disappearing under your cyber feet.

Truth_Seeker is only the latest example of you and your group's standard operational procedures in obnoxiousness, but certainly NOT debate or discussion.

Truth_Seeker was looking for discussion. He got ad hominems and your gang's usual "attack" featuring cyber insults, stupid arguments, and the obvious tag-team meanness of cyberbullies.

Deal with it.

Losing ground? Ever wondered why hardly anyone except your little groupies ever post in the CA threads which are "posted" by any of the members of your little group? All anyone need to, and have done, is witness your non-stop bullying by you and your pals. But of course, you speak for "real conservatives" and bullying and flinging unwarranted insults and ad hominems is good. Right? And you think this makes "conservatives" look.... Strong? Honorable? Able to win?

You cute little faux-conservative you. ;>

Like I said Alia, your true colors come thru when you choose to attack those who are trying to debate issues and then take offense when you are as ghulity if not more so for doing the same.

If truth-seeker was so offended after admitting later on how and who he voted for and owned up to it like an adult, fine by me. I've never been above apologizing as fits the situation. If anything, you need to grow some skin yourself.

It's your opinion as to who has been harsh on who, you certainly have no claim to being a vestal virgin in that arena as some of your previous posts so well show.

Alia, as a person who did wind up voting for Schwarzenegger, I can assure you he wasn't what I had hoped for in the Recall Election.

True Conservatives were right to be aprehensivive with regard to him becoming governor. The last few years have borne out why.

I don't expect Schwarzenegger to be anything but Schwarzenegger, but I do expect the RP leadership to espouse conservative values or get the hell out of the way so someone that will can take their place.

Schwarzenegger is a complete disaster.

The "True Conservative" label doesn't hold water with me, DoughtyOne. I appreciate your post, nontheless.

This is the axle we keep grinding around, isn't it.

WHO do you propose that can win in CA.
