Zawahiri déclame an elegy with the "martyrs" of the jihad in Afghanistan
PARIS - the number two of the network Al-Qaïda, Ayman Al-Zawahiri, déclame a long elegiac poem dedicated to the "martyrs" of the jihad in Afghanistan, in a sound recording put in line Friday, a few days after an attack which would have aimed it to Pakistan.
The audio band, of almost 18 minutes, does not comprise any indication on the date of the registration of the voice allotted to the assistant of Usama Bin Laden.
The islamist site specifies however that it acts of "un new speech of sheik Ayman Zawahiri, that God keeps it".
January 13, an attack with the missiles -- allotted to the CIA although Washington officially did not assert the responsibility for it -- had destroyed several houses of the village of Damadola, in the north of the Pakistani tribal zone, with a few kilometers of Afghanistan.
According to sources' close to the CIA quoted by American media, the raid aimed Zawahiri, but had officially made eighteen died among the villagers and had started a wave of demonstrations antiaméricaines in all Pakistan.
Four or five "foreign militants", according to the Pakistani terminology designating the supposed Al-Qaïda members, however would have been killed. Among them the Egyptian Midhat Mursi would appear, alias Abou Khabab Al-Masri, 52 years, a specialist in explosives whose head was put at price by the Americans for 5 million dollars, according to persons in charge's Pakistani anonymities quoted by various American media.
Officially, the Pakistani authorities however underline which if militants were killed, their bodies were carried and no formal identification could be carried out.
Insert 'Dead Poets Society' joke here?
Wow!!! I bet that one's going to number one!!! (sarcastic)
"There once was a boy from Kandahar.."
There is no greater thing to cause glee,
then a bunch of dead terrorist killed by men who are free.
So this clown is reciting poetry,eh? Maybe he's a closet fairy!
so an undated poetry tape of AZ is the best they can release right now? Hmm.
Is this a joke?
Hopefully the pages were all burned and streaked with his blood too...
This'll be worth watching, it may well be confirmation that we got some of their biggies.
Perhaps you could lend your haiku talents to this thread...
Between them, how many ticks do you think live in their beards?
Not to be outdone by al-Queda's number 1 and 2, al-Zaqawri will release a CD next week singing his favorite show tunes.
I would think that the first thing said would be "I am still alive, the attack of (Insert date here) did not get me. I dedicate this poem to those who were killed.. blah blah blah."
Nothing to date tape means that it is a canned tape, and is being sent out in an attempt to make it look like Al Zawahiri is still with us.
I am beginning to think more and more that we may have gotten this bastard.
Roses are red
Violets are redder
US gonna kill me
Till I can't get no deader
