Gov. Shwarzeneggar expected to make announcement on Tookie Williams Execution Clemency shortly according to Fox News.
No doubt about it.
Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels..."
GOD would embrace TOKE if he truly had a repentful heart.
with GOD all sins are forgiveable with the exeption of denying GOD as lord of all
So Fox is blathering about the defense claiming that the jailhouse witness had his own violent past. As if he was the only witness or that there was no other evidence. I guess the Big Mean Jailhouse Witness coerced poor hapless little Tookie to write notes detailing his plans to escape (and kill people in the process).
I believe the guy who played "Billy" in Predator was Gov. of some southern state as well.
He didn't challenge the Roman Pro-Counsel Pilate on the sentence. Giving to Ceaser what is Ceaser's.
Well, they are co-conspirators to the professional agitators and instigators.
I posted this below on another thread. Some seem to take all this as kind of a joke, and but it's really not. Williams and people like him are a threat to everyone.
Stanley Williams is affiliated with very organized, very violent criminal gangs. You can bet the Governor of California has received some credible physical threats.
These are the same gangs that have no problem intimidating witness, or just killing witnesses. This has been done many times.
These organized murderous gangs would have no problem targeting the Governor.
That being said, I would hope any threats directed at the Governor would not be a factor in his decision.
""Fox News report....Jesse Jackson compared Tookie to Nelson Mandela, Malcom X and even Moses!""
news would be 'Jesse jackson supports upholding decision of courts re T williams'
Jacko II continuing his shakedown racket in order to make a living is not news, at least it is old news, very old...
Oh yeah, I remember that part of the Bible where Moses' staff turns into a gun and shoots people in the head and Moses makes fun of the noises they make as they are dying. They cut it out of the movie too, I guess.
I'm sure we have some areas of agreement. Thanks for your well thought out words.
Yours is a very reasonable position, and were it the law I could live with it.
I view the death penalty a little different than some. I don't care about punishment or deterrence. I view it like surgery at the societal level. Just as a person has a right to cut out a clump of cells that has proven to be dangerous... civilization has a right to remove those members that it chooses.
But what we should not do is what we are doing today. That is, we've not really ever chosen between life-in-prison and the death penalty. In a strange quirk of history we've fallen into doing ~both~ to the same criminal. We lock up somebody for 25 years and *then* finally take them out. It's worse than either would be alone.
I have a friend who is agnostic-dyslexic. He really doesn't know if there is a dog.....
9th Circuit denies appeal!!
Clemency is a part of that process and its presense itself helps avoid bad legal results. Is it your belief that clemency should be replaced with a vote by a mob?
You are correct, I do not understand why there are riots when the local football teams winds a championship.
At first glance, I fell for it! I'm going to be SOOOOO p*ssed off if he does cave. It will only start a trend of immitating Tookie from every other death row inmate in the country & will tie up the courts, etc.
Clemency should only be granted if proof was found that Tookie Williams did not commit the crimes for which he was convicted. As govenor, it is Arnold's job to uphold the outcome of the state's trial. He shouldn't tamper with jury sentences or butt his nose in where it doesn't belong.
Granting Clemency to Tookie will be caving in to murderous gangs, IMO.
Rush wasn't on....
up to you Terminator, what say you?
