I believe the guy who played "Billy" in Predator was Gov. of some southern state as well.
Actually Sonny Landham RAN for Governor of Kentucky in 2003 and was defeated.
He dropped out of the race for governor in Kentucky a few years back.
He ran unsuccessfully for governor of KY. He was the victim of an overzealous prosecutor, and spent three years in prison before his case was summarily dismissed by a federal court of appeals. He is currently suing the state of KY for false imprisonment.
