Since the outcome of the Murtha vote is not in question, and only the hypocrisy score for certain Democrats needs to be added up, I wrote this early, and post it early.

If Murtha was prepared to cut and run at the first sign of difficulty, he should not have voted for the war to begin with. He obviously has no clue what he's doing. I would suggest that he look for some other line of work.

The Dems are calling it "shameful politics" to be asked to vote on the course they have been strongly advocating.

Am I missing something? </sarcasm>

I just watched Murtha speak. I found him to be:
A) Unimpressive
B) Unpersuasive
C) Unpatriotic
D) UnMarine.
I don't care if that wind bag signed up in Tun's tavern
230 years ago.
He used fancy language to take the COWARD'S way out and quit. I don't know what Marine Corps this man was in but cowardice, cutting and running was NOT what I was taught at Parris Island. His lies about 80% of Iraqi's wanting us out were embarrassing to me as an American.

Instead it was the British who pulled a "Murtha".

If the French had cut and run?
Woulda taken us what? another six months?

And then we could have dispensed with 225 years of unnecessary gratitude to a bunch of Euro-slime.

It occurred to me while Murtha was reading yet another letter (presumably) from a (stated) suffering military spouse and indicating that our national defense and security and that of the world should be based essentially on such things - that Gen. George S. Patton would have slapped Murtha hard in the face.

Shows just what the cowardly scum of the left is made up of. They have the heart and strength of popular culture, in other words, they have none of either.

John/Billybob

You got the "right stuff."

Thanks.

I like to use the same parallel approach," What if we had intervened in Germany to blunt the rise of the fascism instead of chewing our cuds under Roosevelt?"

Woeld War II would have been averted. Iraq shows that we have absorbed a lesson learned from WW II.

That ain't bad at all!

Ne Oblie.
