It's time once again for the DC Chapter of Free Republic to gather for our annual Christmas party. This year, we're planning something a little different.
Mr. & Mrs. trooprally have graciously offered to host our Christmas event at their home in Maryland on Saturday, December 10, from 3:00-7:00 p.m.
They will furnish plenty of delicious food, buffet-style, including choice of turkey or ham and lots of side dishes. The sodas and mixers will be provided, but please BYOB. The modest cost for this mouth-watering spread will be $15 per person -- much less than if we were to have our party at a familiar restaurant.
Please place your dinner reservation as soon as possible as space will be limited to a set number of guests. Angelwood will be collecting names and payment so freepmail her on FR or call/email her using information on the www.dcchapter.com home contact link. Payment can be sent to the DC Chapter Post Office Box or placed in a sealed envelope (with appropriate identifying information) and handed to tgslTakoma, trooprally, Angelwood or Kristinn at a Friday freep outside WRAMC. People who have signed up for the dinner/party will be directed to Mr. & Mrs. trooprally for further details and directions.
Our hosts have many treats and activities in store for us. Check you calendars to see if you can join the DC Chapter in celebrating Christmas this year.
