Well FO, looks like this is the government we deserve.

How is he going to avoid the legislature's tax hikes and refusal to cut anything? If he doesn't "get out in front" of this they will pin the financial disaster on him for sure.

If you Zonies don't like California, why do thousands live in San Diego during the summer to get away from the desert. Many of us "Zonies" who have lived here for the better part of the last 15-20 years don't complain about the heat, and we stay during the summer. The newly transplanted Californians (and the out of state snowbirds) are the ones who usually complain about it.
Perhaps they stay there for the same reasons many of you Californians come here to AZ for our weather, for the remainder of the year. We're having a dry high of 90 degrees, shorts and poolside weather, today Nov. 9th.
Are you doing that in San Diego now? ;)
Trust me, I like SD. It's a beautiful city. The only thing wrong with it, is it's in California.

I prefer to look on it as a challenge toward 2006That gonna be one heck of a challenge - a state of 30M people, all RATS.

What a massacre.
Apparently, CA voters still don't get it.

Well... there's no way to sugarcoat it... we're looking at massive tax increases next year - and spending as high as far as the eye can see. Californians have made their bed and decided to lie down in it. That probably puts paid to the gay marriage measure here as well. If voters aren't going to impose modest restrictions on abortion, they sure as hell aren't going to countenance the Sodomite lobby. California is going to become a role model for how the Democrats intend to run the country.

Arnold probably will not win next year. The voters have rejected his agenda. Perhaps they're being stuck on stupid but this Blue State last night turned an even deeper shade of Blue.

Arnold should get out of the way and let the Democrats raise taxes and increase spending. Let them have their way on gay marriage to. The
vox populi has spoken. And no, I didn't vote yesterday - saw no reason to.

Time for THE BIG ONE to hit.
73 and 75 are about basic human rights and the majority should not rule everyone. THESE SHOULD BE INDIVIDUAL CHOICE.
When does the nurder of a citizen get voted on and approved by a simple majority. Even when it comes to notification. Evil rules this state.
Sick.

Even the counties that went blue on other measures can't "Live Within Our Means". I believe government is still the largest employer in the state? We're living off real estate sales.

No. But looking at the election results, it would have made no difference. This is one of those times I felt it wasn't worth the bother. I felt the same way in 2002. As a conservative, why bother when the deck is stacked against you? Its not like the people of this state agree with my views.

Stupid, stupid...
I ask again (and no offense to Cali Freepers intended...)-
Why is California such a great place to live? Is it the exorbitant real estate prices? The crime? The earthquakes? The socialist politics?? The Hollyweird crowd?
There is one good thing to come out of California, and that was Ronald Reagan. At one time the state was full of the same kind of Western libertarian-conservative Republicans that still populate most of Arizona, Utah, Montana, and Wyoming (and Nevada outside of Las Vegas) but no longer. Colorado is also going the way of the Blue stater...
