"Five cars in Berlin torched" is bullet headline of well-known financial news provider with a mayor's name.
German N-TV showing video of burned-out autos and calls it a copy-cat action.
More when I get it.

Although I support your stance that the Bundeswehr should be able to help in such a case, I think that our police is more than sufficient in the moment. We have five burned cars and we do not really know who actually burned them.
The thing is, that the police needs the means to lock those ciminals away. Furthermore they need to feel the punishment. You had once a jugde (Mr. Schill) in Hamburg who got the right answers to bandits like that although he was a idiot on other issues.

It is certainly a bad taste remark, but perhaps the only thing that will deter the potential jihadis is this.

the woman responded that well, there had been over 5 million jews in germany, some time ago. She said out loud a thought that I'm certain is on the minds of millions of Europeans across the continent, "We've done it before. . ."

Sure, I was thinking of a situation similar to what is going on in France right now.
Our laws are tough, it´s just that the judges are too weak. It can´t be that a fine or imprisonment on probation are the first penalties for assault. I mean, it´s all okay for negligient killing (fahrlässige Tötung), but a dangerous assault shall be punished with at least 3-6 months in prison.

Hey Schweinhund,
Isn't it true that most Muslims in Germany are Turks? Does that make them a different breed from some of the more down-and-out type Muslims? Aren't Turks pretty cool and have more self confidence? (What with having been the Ottoman Empire and all that)

It must be the Lutherans acting up... Mmmm... or the Buddhists. Maybe the Zoroastrians?

Oh yes they are, and though I don't play tennis I can feel they are quite strong structurally. Should be fine for use as defence weapons as a last resort.

Zoroastrians could be pretty vicious back in the day.. You know, in the Venidad, the penitence for 'wet dreams' is 800 lashes. You can imagine some of the other punishments!

It must be the Lutherans acting up... Why? Did they run out of beer? Or did someone take our beer? That must be it, someone stole their beer and now they must riot! :)

Moabit is in former West Berlin and has a high number of Turkish nationals. Turks comprise the biggest foreign minority in Berlin, numbering 118 000 out of a total population of 3.4 million, according to official figures.

Sure, I was thinking of a situation similar to what is going on in France right now. I think that such a worse situation like in France is unlikely in Germany since "our" Turks are usually much more sensible compared to those young North Africans in France.
Just my point of view.

A CNN reporter said that the perps are "little teens.I should explain that he said that a few days back, about the French mooligans, not about the German mooligans.

Let the ugly face of radical Islam be shown to all, here and in Europe. It's time to expose this evil and deal with it severely while there is still time.
This is a religious and cultural war on western civilization by Islamofacists which relies on terrorism as its method of battle. The president is only partially correct when he states that this is a war on terror.
I would rather have my enemies exposed within and outside our borders rather than die a slow and silent death. Anyone who believes these people wish to coexist in harmony with western civilization doesn't understand the ultimate goal of these radicals.
The time is now, the enemy is known, the choices are few.

" don't even think about Britain. They shoot people there just for looking funny. God save the Queen."
Where do they get the guns to do that?
