Although I support your stance that the Bundeswehr should be able to help in such a case, I think that our police is more than sufficient in the moment. We have five burned cars and we do not really know who actually burned them.

The thing is, that the police needs the means to lock those ciminals away. Furthermore they need to feel the punishment. You had once a jugde (Mr. Schill) in Hamburg who got the right answers to bandits like that although he was a idiot on other issues.

Sure, I was thinking of a situation similar to what is going on in France right now.

Our laws are tough, it´s just that the judges are too weak. It can´t be that a fine or imprisonment on probation are the first penalties for assault. I mean, it´s all okay for negligient killing (fahrlässige Tötung), but a dangerous assault shall be punished with at least 3-6 months in prison.
