I think you may well be right Lynne Cheney has a similar one but different colour and she seems to wear it a lot as well. Maybe they see them as having some sort of symbolic meaning if they were given to them by Afghan women.

In fact Lynne wore hers in Afganistan last December.

Hagel gets in a good one. Steffie asks him what the Prez should say about the CIA leak. Hagel says "What CIA leak"? Biden is, as usual, a complete blowhard. The Prez should jawbone the oil companies to give back their obscene profits. He should keep his word and fire Rove for his involvement in the Plame thing. Says the Senate shutdown was necessary to get the Phase II report done.

We do not have term limits but we do stop rambling our speaker pulls them up plus other Members do not put up with such rubbish being said.

Our Senators would have heart failure if they had to use British Parlimentary rules. I love watching the House of Commons in action. Now THAT is a debate!

Here here people seem to forget that GWB is the President and head of State and not like in Britain where our PM is the leader of his party. There is a great difference.

Please cite for me three specific instances where the Patriot Act has been used to infringe on Civil Liberties. Not generic "what ifs" but specific instances of real abuses.
