I'm sick of Hollywood inserting its political views into TV show and movies. I don't watch much broadcast television, and up until this point, CSI and its spin-off CSI: NY were my two favorite primetime shows. Why do the writers and producers feel the need to attack the faith of millions of Americans just because they disagree with them?
I've put up with the shows portrayals of deviant sexual behavior. I didn't mind the violence, since it was in the context of an intelligent and scientific investigation, even if the timeline of the investigation is paced more quickly than would happen in real life. But I refuse to look over an intance where they freely choose to attack my faith. I don't know if I'm going to watch that show anymore.

*sigh* Yeah, I saw this too. Do these Hollywood types really think they're being persuasive by setting up dummies to play their opposition? It just gets so old.

More disturbing is their use of little flashlights. Why do they need them outside and why can't they turn on a light switch when entering a darkened room?

I noticed a couple of months ago that CSI was taking quick cheap shots at Conservatives and Christians.

I too watch the episode. I found Grissom's comment regarding Leviticus somewhat troubling because it presents a 'sound byte' response to a deep and abiding question, namely 'when does the spirit take up residence with the soul' (the implication being that the flesh is the home of the soul, without addressing the spirit of the human soul), but of course the character's comment blurred the biblical distinction between soul and spirit, a distinction not too many Christians can address either!

BTW, the writers of the SVU program have been using discussion from this site for ideas in scripts longer than the CSI writers have been typing episodes. One of my story lines was adapted to an episode of SVU.

They can't help it. They are liberals and they know best.

In their minds, if you don't agree with them it is because you are stupid and/or ignorant and/or a hate-filled Christian (the only kind they can conceive of).

More disturbing is their use of little flashlights. Why do they need them outside and why can't they turn on a light switch when entering a darkened room? Always puzzled me too. I found it on Sodnagel's List of TV Crime Show Cliches as rule number 5a.

Its not too surprising. If you listen to them talk about gun ownership, they make it sound as though registration is a legal requirement. A lefty's fondest wet dream.

I believe that their real purpose is to brain wash the younger viewers. Soon they will be voting with liberal ideals implanted by Hollywood. A long term plan to shift the political landscape. In my opinion, their plan will work.

Just saw this and changed the channel.
Again, I believe this qualifies as an illegal campaign contribution to the Democratic Party.

Nobody is watching network TV. I don't know anybody who watches or pays any attention to what the three dinosaurs do. Of course it may be me-I am somewhat intelligent, and travel in informed circles..
To: mrmargaritaville
I don't have cable TV. So when I watch TV, it's usually the networks.
