Please let everyone know about this request from this hero's friends and family for Counter-Protest support against WBC at Sgt. Parker's Funeral!
I'm not understanding this kind of behavior at all. This only proves the hatred those on the left have deep within themselves. I believe the police should keep these low life scum blocks away from the church. This soldier and all those like him/her deserve our respect. They died so that vile scum like the protestors could have free speech but they only want to support free speech when it is them who are saying vile things. They should be glad it is not a relative of mine or my family. Very glad. God bless this soldier and may he rest in peace and now rest forever in the Glory of God. Thank you Soldier.
Hey lady - I was going to tell the FReeper involved to contact several folks.
First, since this is a small town, hopefully they have some rules as far as the necessity of having permits to gather. Other small towns have had success by granting permits for the IDIOTS at a location far away from the funerals. Contact the police and see if this can be done, or if they can be run out of town for lack of obtaining a permit if they don't.
Second, contact the local VFW and those in surrounding towns. There are a LOT of retired military folks out there who are very angry at this group and will show up to block the Phelps group from the vision of the grieving family of our hero.
Third, contact any biker groups that you know of locally -- a LOT of veterans are in bike clubs. (Motorcycle, I mean)
Fourth, whatever you do, do NOT promote violence against this moron who would deserve anything that could be dished out to him IMO. That's their MO. They want someone to do something to them that they can sue for. That's how they foot the bill to continue this disgraceful behavior.
Fifth, have someone who knows the family stay close by and watch the doors. In one instance, one of the TRAITORS walked right into the funeral home and gave a note to the mother of a fallen warrior. Make sure someone else reads the cards and letters that are left for the family BEFORE the family does to weed something like that out.
GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!
Mr. Silverback, can you ping your Kansas group to this??
Can you help?

*PING*...for support for this hero!
Somehow a "Deer Rifle" comes to mind... not that I'd propose violins, mind you!
4.D. Coordinate with local Hell's Angels/ Sons of Silence/ Mongols chapters, who would be more than happy to show Phelps and his filthy, degenerate, subhuman rabble the business end of a tire iron. Be sure to maintain plausible deniability in any such coordination.
Bttt
I am from the UK but often read the posts here as I know a US soldier who has been serving in Iraq ( thankfully he has just returned home safe and well) and I cant believe what I'm reading here that people would go to the funeral of a fallen soldier and protest. What ever is wrong with these people, have they no respect for this poor young man and his greiving family. I know that every one has the right to voice their own opinion but do they not realise that it is thanks to the services of these fine brave men (american and her allies) that they have the right to freedom of speech.Theres a time and place for everything and I certainly don't think this is one of them.I hope that these people are not allowed to get away with this as I think it's downright disugsting to even think about doing it.My prayers and thoughts go out to this poor young mans family at this sad time.....
