What's the big deal, it's not like they are forcing you to quit. They're just sponsoring a car.

It wasn't that long ago that I walked away from two NASCAR races with four cartons of Winstons.

Things have come a long way since Winston ended their series sponsorship just two years ago.

Having a liquor or beer sponsor DOES NOT tell kiddies it's OK to drink & drive. That sounds like the jackass argument to get tobacco sponsorships out of NASCAR

I'm waiting for the first Gay-Lesbian Coalition car to be sponsored. That ought to be fun.

It is rumored that NAMBLA is going to sponsor a car, and it will be pink. Jeff Gordon would be the obvious driver...

Well, just look at who sponsors Mark Martin!
I have no problem with any legal product or service being advertised on the hood of a race car. BTW, do you realize that the loss of Virginia Slims as a sponsor just about killed women's sports?

I think it's the parents job to explain to the kids that the drivers are not drinking their sponsors products while driving.

So you think it's ok for "kids" to see liquor adds, right? Yes, it's OK. It's OK they see cigarette ads, too.
