I'm surprised ALL Emails out of the WH weren't more monitored as a regular thing.

A stupid question: Why would a member of the VP's staff be working in the White House? Not a stupid question at all. Does the VP keep an office in the WH?

Yes, but they are not involved in Philippine politics.
The real political conflict there is ex-Marcos cronies vs everybody else.
The Muslim problem is, from the Philippine point of view, a sideshow in a remote corner of the place.

The Military on the Boarder will never work. You have to arrest any person who employs an undocumented alien. Having served in the military for 20 years now I think the cost would far out way any benefit, the moral would be terrible and most military folks are ill trained to conduct law enforcement duties. Our military is great but they are better utilized breaking things and destroying the enemy with violent action rather than performing security operations on our border. We have a quick strike capability in the armed services today. We are not as strong at occupation of territory for long periods of time and that would include our own borders. I feel your frustration having just participated in the great Houston/Galveston Hurricane Rita evacuation. The vast majority of the problems reported were directly related to what I believe to have been illegals. Many folks could not speak English. I have no proof other than my lying eye's. I don't hold the president solely responsible for the current border problem. He may indeed be the top cop on the block but this problem has developed over decades. I also do not remember the border issue being part of either Presidential platform. I don't imply that he should not take action, I just think we have to go into a different direction, like... enforce our current laws? My guess is there is Zero support out side of one or two congress people for border control issues, sad but true. I also hold no animosity for these folks, they just have to go home. I predict there will never, ever be a President who will doing anything substantive on this issue, Never. Not even Pat Buchanan would do anything once he was in office. He would pander the same way he did by picking Fulani, faloney, falooney or whatever that womens name is for the VP slot.

I have one thought. Maybe we shouldn't be giving Top Secret clearance to naturalized citizens.
To: Jedidah
They are picked by the VP staff. My hubb applied for this aide position recently. They pick on aide per branch. The process works like this. In each major command those who want to apply can. From those commands one is selected, then sent to each branch of service for them to make selections to be sent to VP staff. The VP staff then interviews each selectee then makes the final decision.

Thats 90% Christian pretty much.
Iglesia ni Kristo and Aglipayan are local Christian sects, the Aglipayans are basically Filipino Episcopalians.

Every administration uses holdovers from the previous administration. In the case of Bush taking over from the Clintons, if it would have been me I'd have jetesoned all but the cooks and janitors. I'd then have ordered a review of them.
Anything touched by the Clintons is damaged, read that untrustworty, goods.

Best guesstimate: they had him under surveillance since last year until his arrest last month.

Whoever paid him probably.
Actually I think no-one else. This is something that was probably arranged via a family conenction.
