A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day
Free Republic made its debut in September, 1996, and the forum was added in early 1997. Over 100,000 people have registered for posting privileges on Free Republic, and the forum is read daily by tens of thousands of concerned citizens and patriots from all around the country and the world.
A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day was introduced on June 24, 2002. It's only a small room in JimRob's house where we can get to know one another a little better; salute and support our military and our leaders; pray for those in need; and congratulate those deserving. We strive to keep our threads entertaining, fun, and pleasing to look at, and often have guest writers contribute an essay, or a profile of another FReeper.
On Mondays please visit us to see photos of A FEW OF FR'S VETERANS AND ACTIVE MILITARY
If you have a suggestion, or an idea, or if there's a FReeper you would like to see featured, please drop one of us a note in FR mail.
We're having fun and hope you are!

ood morning, FRiends. I have often wished I had a *generic* table to post on days when I'm short of time, or low on creativity, and can't think of a theme or can't find the right graphics when I *have* a theme. So, here it is - I made one - and you will probably see it again 'cause it just says WELCOME!
I'm calling it my "Ain't Got No Theme" (sorta) or "Ain't Got No Graphics" (sorta) table. When you see it, you will know it's one or the other - or BOTH! Do hope you'll stop in, have a cup of coffee, share your thoughts, pick a theme, post a picture, offer a suggestion for a future theme, offer to WRITE a future thread, or just wave as you drive by. :)

Can cold water clean dishes?
Can cold water clean dishes? This is for all the germ conscious folks that worry about using cold water to clean.
John went to visit his 90 year old grandfather in a very secluded, rural area of Georgia. After spending a great evening chatting the night away, John's grandfather prepared breakfast of bacon, eggs and toast. However, John noticed a film-like substance on his plate, and questioned his grandfather, asking, "Are these plates clean?"
His grandfather replied, "They're as clean as cold water can get them. Just you go ahead and finish your meal, Sonny!"
For lunch the old man made hamburgers. Again, John was concerned about the plates as his appeared to have tiny specks around the edge that looked like dried egg and asked, "Are you sure these plates are clean?"
Without looking up the old man said, "I told you before, Sonny, those dishes are as clean as cold water can get them. Now don't you fret, I don't want to hear another word about it!"
Later that afternoon, John was on his way to a nearby town and as he was leaving, his grandfather's dog started to growl, and wouldn't let him pass. John yelled and said, "Grandfather, your dog won't let me get to my car".
Without diverting his attention from the football game he was watching on TV, the old man shouted ..."COLDWATER, GO LAY DOWN!!!!"

Hi, tuliptree:
A family was in two golf carts on the back nine
Husband, wife, kids and pets having a fine time
The scene was so hip and inviting
The oldest boy with a taco, the girl, palm piloting
The Golden Lab was peeing
The husband was patiently teeing
Up and his wife stroked the kitten on her laptop's keys
The ball sliced badly off the Fairway
The Goldie bolted and found it without delay
Ran and dropped it in the cup for all to see
While the husband smiled and loudly shouted "Hooray!"
Up above St. Francis looked down with dismay
Bringing on a sudden shower, as if to say
"My pets won't be used to cheat. Play the silly ball as it lays!"

LOL, that White Kitty is Beautiful, FRiend Billie! He is Sure one Relaxed and Contented Kitty!
Are you getting lots of rest so you will feel all better? :)
I Guess that's about All I'll be Doing for Awhile, because of the Disc Herniations in my Back. But I have Learned a Lot of Things Spiritually during this Awful Time, so I am Grateful to our Lord for that. He has been Merciful and Kind to me, and I Thank Him for His Sustaining Grace.

Thank you, and Amen to your Sweet Prayer, dear sister in our Lord! And I Love the Picture of the Mama Kitty with her Kittens!
I Tried Refreshing the Dreaded Red X in Post #60, Hitting "Show Pic," but I can't See it! :(
I just Mailed the X to myself, LOL, to See if I could See it in my Email, but that didn't Work Either, so I'm going to Try to Look at it in my Email with my other Computer at my Ranch this Saturday, if I am Able to Go.
