Don't know who it'll be but my last guess would be Janice Rogers Brown. I don't believe the President wants a showdown and neither does she want to be the focus of one.
And if the nominee isn't an unmistakable conservative, if he's another inkblot like Roberts, then it's time to take a hint.
(Roberts is obviously brilliant; he is not as obviously conservative.)

What we know about her on key issues: Nothing. Likeliness to be a judge clearly in the mold of Thomas and Scalia like the President put his honor and reputation on the line to nominate and ONLY nominate: bascially zero.

You contradict yourself. Since the answer to the first question is "nothing," the answer to the second question can only be answered honestly as "don't know."

More importantly, this is a rumor only at this point. It really doesn't matter what this woman's credentials are. It will only matter if and when she is actually nominated.

That doesn't change the fact that the headline link shouldn't be that way. With regards to reading where links go, I rarely do that...what's the point? I know you would say that a link could go to some ad filled spyware bomb, but I mainly use Linux, so it doesn't matter to me lol. I suppose some people may be on 56k and want to really really make sure what sites they are going to via hyperlinks are sites they want to see because pages take so long to load, other than that, who cares.
