Given the current climate, a Texan might not be the best choice right now (for better or worse.)
To: CatoRenasci
she went to a third tier law school That's a plus. Do you really want some pinhead who graduated from Harvard, Yale or Columbia?

AGREE!!
No way I can support this nomination.
She is TOO OLD for SCOTUS.
She is too unknown for SCOTUS.

She was my guess when Pres. Bush nominated Roberts. I still think that she is in the running.

And now a word from our real Sponsors of Free Speech
The Men and Women who serve,

We would not have a US Supreme Court

Politicans and Judges are safe
because of the Military who protect them.
TEST : Call your Senator or Congressman's office
AFTER 5 PM, or on the weekend.
IF you speak to an actual person, ask who's in charge today?
Now look up the phone number
of your local military base.
Call that number 24/7
and ask the live voice you get
to speak with the person in charge.

Her looks are reminiscent of O'Connor....I know nothing about her views. Could she be another "stealth" candidate?
To: GeneralStorm
Some guy on the John Batchelor show said that their is a rumor out there that the announcement will come out tomorrow. Also the Bush administration wants a confirmation by Thanksgiving.
To: dollar_dog
She contributed to Gore, Bentson and the DNC!

That means it won't be her. Just like he was going with the New Orleans lady last time.
