Given the current climate, a Texan might not be the best choice right now (for better or worse.)

she went to a third tier law school

That's a plus. Do you really want some pinhead who graduated from Harvard, Yale or Columbia?

AGREE!!

No way I can support this nomination.

She is TOO OLD for SCOTUS.

She is too unknown for SCOTUS.

She was my guess when Pres. Bush nominated Roberts. I still think that she is in the running.

IF you speak to an actual person, ask who's in charge today?

Now look up the phone number
of your local military base.
Call that number 24/7

to speak with the person in charge.

Her looks are reminiscent of O'Connor....I know nothing about her views. Could she be another "stealth" candidate?

"Harriet Miers a replacement for Justice Sandra Day O'Connor? (DRUDGE HEADLINE)"

That means it won't be her. Just like he was going with the New Orleans lady last time.
