No judicial experience is the disqualifying factor.

No, it's not a disqualification. She's a lawyer (as a matter of fact, I don't know for sure you even have to BE a lawyer to qualify for the USSC). The purpose of being on the Supreme Court is to interpret the constitution as it apples to various cases. She must have been pretty good at her job or she wouldn't have been selected to be the head of the Texas Bar Association.

I'm looking for a strict constructionist. If someone is a strict constructionist that's all we need because if it's not written in the constitution, it's not covered. PERIOD.

It's interesting. I've been talking to friends and doing some research. She is a member of both a Jewish Women's Group AND a Christian Women's group. People who know say she is NOT a strict Conservative, but IS Pro-Life. Stay tuned.

BTW, the poster making light of her service overseeing the lottery board have no clue what they are talking about. The Texas Lottery Board was full of corruption. She was brought in to clean it up. She did. That was simply one position she has held.

She is qualified. She is a brilliant woman. The question remains, is she an Originalist? That answer I can not answer. That may be the point.
