How'd they get around the big concrete barriers?

Not being borne out by TXCN live coverage or by the Houston trafficams.

"No wonder why the envirowhackos want all power to be natural gas; then there will be rolling blackouts from supply disruptions..."
---->

I would love to have the time to go back to the "California blackout aftermath" threads to find where I, and a couple other FReepers, stated that California's foolish race to power electric plants with natural gas because it was so "cheap" and clean would drive the price way, way up...

This is what is going on...

Do you know if it is dangerous to use a camping Coleman stove (propane) in house. I'm thinking about when power goes out.

Very unwise and Coleman specifically tells you not to do it. During the blackout a couple of years back I just took mine out on the balcony and cooked out there. Could be unpleasant in a storm, though.

This is a text lift that's standard in Coleman instruction manuals:

CARBON MONOXIDE HAZARD • This appliance can produce carbon monoxide which has no odor. • Using it in an enclosed space can kill you. • Never use this appliance in an enclosed space such as a camper, tent, car or home.

Right before Katrina hit the Fox weather girl, Janice Dean was asked by Shep if Katrina would be a 4 or a 5. Dean obviously isn't a meteorologist but logically deduced that once the hurricane came over the cooler water it could lessen to a 4. You could tell she was quite uncomfortable in overstepping her bounds.

Then Shep goes to Bastardi. He tears into Dean saying there is no way Katrina would lessen to a 4. He guaranteed it would be a 5 at landfall.

Katrina hit landfall at a 4 because of the cooler water off the LA coast. Some people are named perfectly.

He said if the tornadoes moved quickly out of Michigan, the HIGH PRESSURE may rebuild and push RITA toward Galveston....if the tornadoes moved slow, RITA would keep toward Beaumont...

The question is do I add chow chow to the chicken salad that already has chopped black olives, walnuts and celery knowing my son will not eat it if I do?

Is it the mustard chicken salad or the mayonaisse chicken salad?
