Gregoire (WA). Why is his so low and hers so high?

Liberal female election thief. Seattle in a nutshell.

I guess 17% of all Ohians are lobbyists in Columbus.

Or golf course managers.

I'm surprised Jeb has such low numbers. I thought he was more well-liked than that. He has done a good job for Florida overall, if you don't count the hurricanes he keeps sending our way. :-)

If Ah-nold doesn't do well in Cal-i-foh-ni-ah, we'll take him in Virginia

Be very, very careful what you wish for.

Ponder how Virginia might function with an annual $120B state budget and $25B in debt.

Jeb's at 53%.

9% is the difference between his approval and disapproval.

BTW, I don't buy into the 60% for Napolitano... she is not that popular here, makes me wonder who they polled.

Doubt if Blunt is getting a fair count here, either. As you know, the media in MO are screaming lefties. Wonder who did the polling -- it doesn't seem to say.

Considering her actions in Katrina, Blank-O is doing quite well. Perhaps time will erode that position.

Taft isn't making any friends in Ohio.

And who knows what Blanco's approval rating would be if they asked all the Louisianans that are in Texas, and Arkansas, and Mississippi, and Alabama, and Florida, and Tennessee.

Why would a prosecutor, who had an open and shut case, make such an agreement?

Because the defendant is the Governor of the State in which he resides.

More than likely the Prosecutor has political ambitions in the state.

Politicians are known for their long memories and vindictive attitudes.

They are also known to protect their own. I suspect that he saw the writing on the wall (someone may have pointed to him) “Take down Taft and you might as well leave this state if you want to pursue your political career.”

SURVEY USA....."600 adults age 18+ in each of the 50 states were interviewed by SurveyUSA 9/16/05 to 9/18/05. According to best estimates, approximately 12.5% of Louisiana and 6.25% of Mississippi did not have working telephone service during the field period for this survey. Caution should be exercised in drawing conclusions from those states. You must credit SurveyUSA of Verona NJ if you broadcast, print, or cite these results in whole or part. Click on each state to open link which contains the margin of sampling error for each state, a complete statement of methodology, fully crosstabbed data and tracking graphs with time-series data.

Of the 33 with net positive ratings, only 12 are Dems. Among the bottom 17, 10 are Dems.

So among the 28 GOP governors they get 21 with net positive ratings (75%) while the Dems have only 12 of 22 governors with that rating (55%).

I'm was at first surprised that the governors of Missouri and Kentucky were that low (I understand Ohio and California) but Kentucky is like Ohio when it comes to high taxes and bad government. All those old yellow dog Democrats just became Republicans by name only.

And I guess the governor of Missouri just hasn't showed them enough yet! lol

A true conservative can't get elected in a 2005/2006 California... and IMHO Arnold is heads above Rob Reiner or Warren Beatty...
