Linday's been magnificent, but he really slammed them via their Ginsberg.

Sessions could not look at Roberts he was afraid that he would make Roberts laugh. The Republicans just clearly out classed the Dems on this.

Do we have any idea when the next nominee will be named? My best guess is late Spetember, after Roberts is reported out of Committee or after his floor vote.
I'd imagine they will want to have a full court before the session begins, right?
He'd want to but it's near impossible. As the Senate Judiciary Committee is busy with this nomination.

Will hear from Marsha Greenberger of National Women's Law Center, and other liberal (and conservative) special interest groups this afternoon. Also the ABA.

Any clue, ballpark or otherwise when Pres. Bush will nominate for the other vacancy?I think the next nominee will be named when this nominess is voted out of committee. Possibly next Thursday evening. I would think the same modus operandi, National Audience Announcement.
I now give you my next choice for the SC.........drum roll please............Miguel Estrada

They'll have a full court. O'Connor isn't leaving until she's replaced.

I am not a big Lindsay Graham fan. He was grandstanding because he is in political trouble in SC. He will be pushing and supporting McCain for President.

Lindsay is trying to reclaim his conservative bona fides after being part of the Gang of Fourteen. Listening and watching him during these hearings, and reading the posts to this thread, makes me wonder whether Rush will come out with a new version of the "moderate seven" parody that will cast LG in a better light.

You should hear NPR as we speak!!! unbelievable!!!Maybe NPR will accidentally open the eyes of more libs today.
NPR, PBS, and the other DNC concubines, were so embarrassingly biased during the Thomas Hearings that I had to turn my back on the Liberal Party, which I had supported for 20 years. (I had campaigned for Eugene McCarthy)
