Please not another milktoast feeble republican. But after all, now Bush will nominate a one-legged deaf muslim woman to the court.

He wants Hatch because Hatch is easily manipulated by the liberals.
To: governsleastgovernsbest
Hatch is most definitely a Souder.
The even look a lot alike.

Dershowitz is a POS, regardless of where he stands or says about anything!

I think Bush should have gotten back at the libs by nominating Mark Levin for Chief Justice.
The hearings would be MUST SEE TV at its best. Kennedy would yell so much he may have a heart attack and there would be one less lib to deal with.

"he believes Roe v. Wade was wrongly decided and that the right of privacy does not extend to abortion."
I think even a tenured professor at Harvard can be fired for this kind of heresy. All kidding aside, I really don't see this kind of remark being tolerated at Harvard. Is he still on the faculty?

Watch it this man has something up his sleeve..I would not trust Alan Dershowitz, any more than i trust the devil..That is unless he can prove to me he has had a born again experience..

Dershowitz is to the legal profession what Dick morris is to politics. Alan's probably hurting from the bad PR he received for calling Rhenquist a 'republican thug' the same day he died.

I would rather nominate Fat Ted. At least then the Republicans wouldn't vote for him - and I would enjoy the committee grilling.

Dershowitz is an interesting character. Though a pro-choice, pro-gun control liberal, he nonetheless has the intellectual honesty to admit that Roe v Wade is garbage, and that the Second Amendment protects an individual right, not some worthless collective one.
On the other hand, he will not hesitate to recklessly sling the racist charge against someone he dislikes.
