I think even a tenured professor at Harvard can be fired for this kind of heresy. All kidding aside, I really don't see this kind of remark being tolerated at Harvard. Is he still on the faculty?

Dersh is apparently still at Harvard. Guess it's hard to get rid of tenured profs, even when they commit anti-liberal heresy.
