Yes, it's their 16th annual "festival," but "SWEET SIXTEEN Cruisin' for a Kiss" (see the website) is just a little too obvious of an in-your-face double entendre.
May I point out that in Virginia, sixteen year olds are minors, i.e., contributing to the delinquency of a minor, statutory rape, etc. That's nothing to be proud about!

September means Pride! RoanokePride, Inc. is the guiding force behind the month-long series of activities known collectively as Pride. The centerpiece of our Pride celebration is the Pride-in-the-Park festival. Since it's inception in 1989, this gathering is the largest annual gay/lesbian/bisexual/transgender event in Western Virginia. RoanokePride, Inc. is proud to bring professional entertainment to our community each year for this festival! As an all-volunteer, non-profit organization, RoanokePride uses all donations to fund various activities, including Pride in the Park. Additionally, donations from the proceeds are made to various LGBT organizations throughout Western Virginia each year. With your generous help, we hope to increase the monies donated back into the community, as well as continue to host LGBT events with famous and local talent. Your sponsorship and/or donation is greatly appreciated! RoanokePride also awards the Lambda Service Award (for outstanding individual achievement) and the Community Service Award (for outstanding achievement of an organization). These annual awards are given to deserving community members and groups that are nominated by the very public that they serve. Nominations may be made through our website.
Too bad we don't know anybody in Wachovia management ;-)
And we taxpayers are shouldering the burden of Wachovia's let the robber have the loot, no guns, policy:

Do you know if Mark Warner, Leslie Byrne, Tim Kaine, Creigh Deeds or anyone from the campaigns attended this event?
So you got on a gay mailing list?
Nope. No need to. Just have to be aware of your surroundings and willing to do a little research.
"Do you know if Mark Warner, Leslie Byrne, Tim Kaine, Creigh Deeds or anyone from the campaigns attended this event?"
I know the candidates themselves didn't. One of the main organizers definitely does support Kaine, though.
You can see the local 11 PM Sunday nite news report @ http://www.wdbj7.com/
The video clip is titled : "Organizers hold 16th annual Pride in Park in Roanoke"
Think I'll post yesterday's Roanoke Times glorification of the event shortly.
70 people showed up. Not a lot of pride there.

Actually, there aren't any public bathrooms in the park where this was held. There are some in the nearby library.
Better not drop your keys at this event!
I bet. Has Kaine taken a position on the Marriage Amendment?
