The Dem playbook

The Hill newspaper gives us a peek at the Democratic playbook for the Roberts hearings. Below are the attack assignments for the Democratic members of the Committee:

Kennedy -- civil rights

Leahy -- Bybee torture memo

Biden -- privacy, personal autonomyand the 9th Amendment

Kohl -- Property rights and civil liberties

Feinstein -- "judicial activism" and Roe vs. Wade

Feingold -- limits of executive powers

Schumer and Durbin have wisely refused to show their hand.

I just want to know how G.W.B. is going to top or equal Roberts.

He's not. The President did what he always said he would do -- nominate the best candidate for the job. The 'Rats and the Lamestream Media consistently misunderestimate the President and are surprised every time he does the unexpected -- keep his word.

This guy is going to be an incredible force on SCOTUS over the years. He's very persuasive and very sharp.

The President picked a great first nominee and then picked a great Chief.

His incredible retentive skills were highlighted by Ken Starr and others who worked with him.

He makes me feel brain damaged.

Can anybody give me an update, please? Thankyou!

Fear not, he's doing great! Brilliant recollection of every decision he's ever written, nimble avoidance of every attempt the senators make to trap him. Oh, he just make the point again that it's the legislature's job to make policy, not the courts!

New phrase from Feinstein "assistant suicide".

Typical Democrat. They believe people can't do anything without assistance.

I'm absolutely amazed at his ability to answer these complicated questions without even hesitating.

It's like he knows what they are asking before the questioners do.

Somebody should tell her that it's September 13th; lose the pastels.

You're giving me flashbacks. Mommy telling me that a lady never, never wears white shoes after Labor Day. :-)
