U.S. commercial air carriers continue transporting tens of thousands of evacuees from the New Orleans airport to destinations throughout the nation.

Rooftop air rescue efforts continue. One rescue chopper crashed late today. Crew members are reported safe. Gunmen who fired upon bridge repair contractors were killed by law enforcement.

To date, an estimated 70 countries and U.S. businesses have pledged hundreds of millions of dollars, supplies, food and equipment to assist the United States' efforts in Katrina's aftermath. Lt. General Honore described the damage to Mississippi today, "all infrastructure south of Jackson, MS is either damaged or destroyed." Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice visited the devastated areas, and attended Sunday church services in Mobile, Alabama.

Elsewhere, Sean Penn's rescue boat, sans plug and full of his personal entourage, reportedly sank during launch in New Orleans. Senator Mary Landrieu (D-LA) threatened to punch President Bush, and Jefferson Parish President Broussard decried that the bureaucracy of FEMA has committed murder.

Streaming Video:

All information is subject to change. Many stations are relying on their corporate parents to configure and maintain Internet streaming. Because of the intense interest in the feeds, they may be unavailable at times because of network congestion or a problem feeding the video to the streaming servers.

WWL-TV New Orleans - WWL-TV is operating from studios at Louisiana Public Broadcasting. CBS has a relay during the morning and afternoon. When available, use the CBS relay first as they have greater streaming capacity. They have a secondary stream from Yahoo. WWL-TV is also offering a special low-bandwidth audio-only stream for dial-up users.

WDSU-TV New Orleans - The news staff has started to return to temporary news studios near New Orleans. However, expect evening coverage from Hearst-Argyle sister stations WAPT Jackson and WESH Orlando when the New Orleans staff needs to take a break.

WGNO-TV New Orleans - New Orleans' ABC affiliate has returned to the air with WBRZ-TV and launched video streaming with continuous Katrina coverage.

WPMI-TV Mobile, AL - WPMI is webcasting from 5:30am - 10:30pm CDT. When off air, you can view pre-recorded reports on demand. This feed is often unreliable.

WKRG-TV Mobile, AL - This station is providing good coverage of the situation to the east in Mississippi and Alabama. However, the station is now signing off at around 10:30pm CDT like WWL and WPMI.

WJTV-TV Jackson, MS - The CBS affiliate in Jackson is providing live coverage for both the Jackson area and south Mississippi (knowing a lot of media in that area is off the air).

WFAA-TV Dallas, TX - WFAA-TV is here because Dallas is one of the evacuation cities.

United Radio From New Orleans: WWL-AM, WNOE-FM, "KISS-FM," WRNO-FM, WYLD-FM, and WJBO-AM (Clear Channel & Entercom) who have joined forces as United Radio From New Orleans, and they are streaming.

Gulf Coast Storm Network (Clear Channel Radio) - Clear Channel offers radio listeners across the gulf coast access to a simulcast emergency radio service. This service seems primarily focused on Alabama and Mississippi, but does cover Louisiana to some degree.

Did not the President request Clinton and Bush 41?

I was talking about hildabeast and whatshisname Witt. I'm not sure why the President requested Pops and Clinton, but I'm sure he knows what he's doing.

Nothing surprises me these days. I wouldn't be surprised if some of that missing 30 million ended up in Hill's bank account. Strings pulled, favored granted, etc. Did you see how awful she looked? It wasn't because she was grief stricken, that's for sure.

You know, it seems to me, everyone has always known what would happen to New Orleans if the right hurricane came along. Streets flood like crazy during a thunderstorm. It's insane and crazy to think they didn't know what to expect.

I'm sorry but all the news I've had for days has been that liberal and perverted ABC news and I'm fighting mad at what I've been hearing.

BTW, New Orleans is a dangerous and dirty town on it's best day. That doesn't mean I don't love it, but that's the way it is.

For someone who never wore makeup, shaved her legs or used deodorant until Bill decided to run for Governor again (after he was drummed out the first time) I think what we see most of the time is window dressing,

Heads up: Greta says that former President Clinton has a lot to say about the levees tonight. 10:00.

(Knowing FNC - it's a 2 minute segment and a come-on, but Greta said he had a LOT to say about the levees).

How are things further north? We have a sales rep that lives about 200 miles from the coast. Keep safe and good luck.

Baton Rouge has quadrupled in population. Best advice I can give, is to bring everything he needs in with him. When he sees an open gasoline station with decent length lines, stop.

Tell him things have improved some today.

Was the warning letter the one that said people would have to find a way out of town and you're on your own (or words to that effect)?

Anyway, I didn't hear Sean read that letter -- just stuff from the newspaper warnings about how the city had no plans to get the homeless and poor out of the city and it wasn't a matter of if but when.

If there is anything we learned from Katrina is that the food in NO is very good. Did you see those residents? The first franchise that needs to be placed in this soon to be rebuilt city is Jenny Craig.

Have you been watching Hannity and Colmes?

They were just talking with Greta, and she said that they have set up a day care center in the Astrodome, so it will be easier on the parents...and give them time to do what they need to do...

Hopefully, other large centers are doing the same.

Bubba is going to marvel at how his own admin worked right up to the end planning to improve the levee system. When Clintoon left office, everyone on the planet dropped the ball.

I'm taking bets on this one...

A Hero.

Didn't want to go, feared the situation, yet didn't abandon his post as those in LA did.

Blessings to his family, so sad to hear of his loss.

Forgiven. :) I don't know where the folks are being housed, except to say they are everywhere. So many people have stepped forward...Churches, campsites, private homes and hotels. It's heartwarming. Very heartwarming.

But regarding the immunizations, I am sure that I heard all immunization requirements are being waived for at least a month. That just doesn't seem healthy to me, is all. I am all for opening myself to these families, but if the potential is there where my children could become sick, then I have to firmly draw the line.

Just my thoughts. Heck...I told my husband who left today to head back into New Orleans to get onto the NAS that if he has to be or chooses to be exposed to anything, just stay there until he's cleared by a physician.

he was president for 8 years, Bush 41 for 4 years - how can they spin it? they should tell the truth - the odds of this happening were low, even though it happened, in hindsight it was still a low probability event - and no one wanted to commit the kind of dollars needed to fix the problem. if "fix" is even the right word to use, the city is below sea level after all.

Carolyn, Joe is a lost cause, I'm glad you tried but he doesn't want to listen to any facts right now.

I really hope he's got a long-term gig locked up or something else because he's lost many a viewer who thought he might take the long-term view on this.

If you care to email him back with some facts he could investigate when or if he clears his head, he might look at the response time for Andrew, compare the hours and also compare the state of the transportation routes leading into the Florida coast vs. those into the Miss Gulf Coast and New Orleans.

He was on his high horse about being able to get into the Gulf Area, maybe he can tell us what exactly his route was and how many 80-ton trucks could have followed.

That obesity is likely sustenance on potatoes and other starches. Very common in the very low income population, along with vitamin deficiencies.
