I heard him this morning during a presser stating that he had started research to see how much and what they needed to redo the levee situation. He believed those directions weren't followed after leaving office.

He also took a shot at Bush stating he's sure there will be a commission like the 9-11 commission to investigate Katrina later.

AND he repeatedly mentioned he has a plan to redo FEMA and would be glad to show his solutions to anybody interested later.

The above isn't his exact wording, but is the gist of it. I was listening on the radio; therefore was unable to see 41's face while Clinton was pontificating. It didn't seem like 30 minutes later that PIAPS came out and called for a 9-11 Commission. How much longer until she announces HER new plan for FEMA?
