You know, it seems to me, everyone has always known what would happen to New Orleans if the right hurricane came along. Streets flood like crazy during a thunderstorm. It's insane and crazy to think they didn't know what to expect.

I'm sorry but all the news I've had for days has been that liberal and perverted ABC news and I'm fighting mad at what I've been hearing.

BTW, New Orleans is a dangerous and dirty town on it's best day. That doesn't mean I don't love it, but that's the way it is.

You summed it up well. I lived on the West Bank and my apartment got 14 inches of water from a severe 10" rain storm in the 70's. Electricity was still on and the water was just a few inches below the AC outlets. After having put all my stuff up on blocks as the water came in, I sat down on a lawn chair in my living room and watched TV. It was a way of life in N.O. to expect flooding.
