WTF kind of editorial crap is this?

"New Orleans fell deeper into chaos on Friday with gangs roaming the streets and corpses rotting in the sun a full four days after Hurricane Katrina lashed the city and exposed federal aid efforts as a failure."

Spending that included approval from the likes of John Kerry and Hillary Clinton...but don't let the facts get in the way of a good Bush-bash. What a dishonest twerp this guy is.

If its true that Repbulicans shorted the "shoring up" of NO,
maybe that's not so bad considering what a mess it was.

Having said that, and not believing the administration did short NO ( the reality says 40 mil was ready to go for reconstruction on the levees)...that's not a way I would want to see the problem solved. Until we deal with the culture of welfare and entitlement...NO's mess will now just be spread around.

full four days after Hurricane Katrina

and 3 FULL days after the Levee broke. Louisiana Gov Blanco has STILL not asked President Bush to deploy Regular US Army troops to restore order. Under US Law the President cannot send in Regular Army troops until the State Governor asks for them.

Good point. I here the morons on the radio yelling, "Send in the Marines!" Our government doesn't send our military against or into our people unless our people ask for it.

When Mount Rainer Blows its top and destroys Seattle and Tacoma one of these decades, people a re sure to say that the administration (whoever it is at that date) ignored expert advise and wasted needed relocation money on something that is not politically correct.
