full four days after Hurricane Katrina and 3 FULL days after the Levee broke. Louisiana Gov Blanco has STILL not asked President Bush to deploy Regular US Army troops to restore order. Under US Law the President cannot send in Regular Army troops until the State Governor asks for them.

Good point. I here the morons on the radio yelling, "Send in the Marines!" Our government doesn't send our military against or into our people unless our people ask for it.
