Getting real tired of his gloom and doom crap...he's at it again today. (Shepard Smith) Criminy, again? I turned him off yesterday because of this.
He's not crying, is he?
If he seemed sincere it might be OK. But he it makes it look so contrived...

I said this on another thread. City, school and medivan buses could have been deployed to move the people out. Driven down the streets to get the people out in the poor neighborhoods. Sanitation, water and food supplies could have been set up in the dome prior to all those people being sent there. There was time before the hurricane hit. The wherewithall was there..no leadership to implement.

Uh - why is this not part of the general evacuation procedure? They had at least 24 hours to run those buses nonstop getting the indigent and infirm out of N.O.
The only suprise with this hurricane was that it skirted NORTH right before slamming New Orleans.

We're talking about before the storm, LPC...not afterwards.

I can't believe that a mayor of a city like NO would actually say in a press conference that he doesn't know whose problem it is. The Governors or the Presidents but someone needs to get their ass down here!
Well Let me tell you Nagin - It's your problem. You screwed up big time!! You're the one that was a miserable failure. Now try to blame it on someone else.
Comparison: Rudy Guilliani Vs. Ray Nagin
A contrast in leadership!

It's because few liberals have any common sense, and do not understand economics, accounting, planning, distribution logistics. And... have never run a business; because they're too stooopid.

You aren't very bright...are you?
In regard to Nagins complaint about other officials giving press conferences, I noticed both Saturday and Sunday he had no compunction for doing personal interviews for a number of the cable outlets (and joking about an inevitable explosion in gas prices). Seems to me a case of the pot calling the kettle black...that was valuable time that could have been spent evacuating the children, elderly, sick who didn't have any means of getting out.

He added "during the mandatory evacuation" to the link title now. He's not gonna let this go.

Unreal, there's about 150 in that picture I bet. How many can one bus hold? Lots more people could've gotten out. Sad man. Someone said they counted 313. And that's just in the picture.
