I flipped thru the channels - saw Shep for 1 minute - turned back to tennis.
But have no fear Geraldo is there and he is more "doom and gloom" than Shep.

The bus photo tells a simple story:
There was no plan before the hurricane.
There was no plan during the hurricane.
There was no plan after the hurricane.

Jack Cafferty, a drunken commentator on CNNAh, so that's it. He makes no sense and comes across as bitter and angry.
I really don't know why he's on the air.

"Wanna widescreen cheap?"
To: Rosemont
Who, or what, is a Jack Cafferty?
And what does what he has to say mean to anyone?
To: joinedafterattack
I heard someone state that if they can do it for an election, then they can do it for an evacuation.

"Ohhhhh and as for Shep Smith the DRAMA QUEEN..."He is the king of the drama queens. I'm not making this up--yesterday I actually heard him say "the Superdome will never be inhabited by people again," because of the stench from the human waste that is in there right now. That is just SOOOO ridiculous and stupid. Yeah Shep, they're going to demolish a $200 million stadium because they can't get rid of the bad smell....yeah right...LOL...what an idiot he is sometimes. He did a fine job at reporting on 9/11 when events were truly dramatic beyond description. But he was really silly yesterday.
As for the Superdome, they're probably going to have to replace all the seat cushions and the turf on the football field and then give it a complete steam cleaning. But the dome will certainly live on and might even host the Sugar Bowl on 1/1/06.

Yes and I can understand that. But all these bleeding hearts keep saying that the gangs running through the streets are poor people who have been pushed over the edge. They won't be happy until then turn this into a race-war.

It was being screamed about for sure on Saturday, before the hurricane hit and while the mayor was shirking his responsibilities. He was too busy asking his lawyers if it was legal for him to save peoples' lives.

Gov is an incompetent boob BUT the main problem was and still is NOLA was just waiting for a disaster to happen as are a lot of other towns vacation resorts on barrier islands etc etc
A CAT five hitting any occupied areas right in it's path on the water will be a complete tragedy Check out the NJ shore resorts .
Even if they evaculate there ain't gonna be nothing to come back to

Um, maybe because they were under THREE FREAKIN' FEET OF WATER?That's the point. There was plenty of time to get those buses into service and evacuate people beforehand. This picture will go down in history as the illustration that illustrates the absurdity of Mayor Nagin's alleged "leadership".
