There is a ship there, and it's helicopter was shot at while trying to evacuate those with medical needs.

Perhaps this has already been mentioned, but I'm of the opiinion that every bank in NO should to be completely destroyed before the criminal element there can get into them.
I read the column, and am hoping that you get attention from the national mainstream media. I care so much about people of all backgrounds, for we all have the same emotions, desires, and love for our families and friends in our hearts.
What has been done to the black community in the name of "liberal compassion" is neither liberal nor compassionate. How many lives, hopes, and dreams have been destroyed by this evil set of lies foisted on blacks, and supported by the MSM, who really ought to know better.
I do not blame individual blacks for such self-defeating behaviors, for had I been born one, and fed such garbage, I do not believe I would behave much better.
If this post offends anyone, I am truly sorry. It is only my total frustration and emotional pain at seeing the devastation in NO. These poor people! I am helpless to do anything but pray for their souls... they do not deserve this nightmare.

Have you ever had any experience trying to get the herd to shut up and listen to important information? Especially panicked, tube watchers.
If they had them, they'd use them.
Prediction: they'll do both... in the same press conference.
Lessons learned for the next time:
1) Martial law at the outset.
2) No looting. No exceptions.
3) Even BEFORE the expected hurricane hits, carriers with helicopters and other rescue ships will be ON THE WAY, and will wait just outside the storm zone.
4) Even BEFORE the hurricane hits, the national guard will be mobilized and stand ready just outside the storm zone.
5) Closed military bases will be designated as housing for evacuees.
6) All buses and other forms of transportation will be pressed into service (including mail trucks, ice-cream trucks, federal express, UPS, moving vans, etc.) to move people. All traffic will be one-way--OUT.
7) Those refusing the evacuation order will be told they will be considered criminals in violation of lawful orders, and treated as such. (That means jail time and big fines afterward, for anyone caught in an evacuation zone.)
8) All able-bodied evacuees will be put immediately to useful labor (filling sandbags, washing, cleaning, cooking, etc.), in order to free up others for rescue work, and to keep them busy at useful occuaptions.
9) Each city in the USA will receive a designated number of evacuees, to resettle. Evacuees will be cleared out of refugee centers and dispatched to these cities within days, if possible.
I agree that kids of all races and classes have fallen into this but for some reason the thug/hip hop movement can't be touched. Somehow, it became protected as "black culture" Well it's not black culture and I think that many Blacks are offended that liberals treat it as such.
Sadly, Bill Cosby or other true friends of Blacks will never be called upon to do a commercial with Lee Iaccoca, but Snoop Dog has been, complete with a "pimped out" golf cart. Pimps, hoes and bit@hes, who wants that for their kids? White, black or other? Frankly, I would have liked to have seen Condi Rice or Clarence Thomas with Lee, but that wouldn't have sold cars, would it?
Speaking of Justice Thomas, has anyone heard from him? I think that I heard that he was going to be in the South during the Hurricane? I hope that I am mistaken.
