But WLW radio is up and running and taking calls, and is a resource for Freepers who need specific information
Reminds me of a personal "Foggy Mountain Breakdown" story. Sis picked me up at the airport toward evening in a ferocious storm and up an over the foggy mountain we did go. Fog lights on the road and the weather is so bad we can barely make them out. I'm nervously yapping at sis "why don't we just pull over." She said, because the guy in back of us thinks we know where we are going, and he'll follow us off the road and CREAM us!
Oh I would be the first to agree with you in general.
Your detector is not working. I have no connection with the Salvation Army other than respect and donations (given--not received.) History has taught us to feel as we do.
I see nothing in the Red Cross about which to be jealous--is there something I've missed?
BTTT
Courtney Jackson rocks! Makes you feel good about people to run across someone like that . . . polite, humble, looking out for grandma, and grateful to be alive!
NBC: 50 persons confirmed dead in Harrison County, MS>
Exactly.
There was plenty of time to stock up on basic necessities prior to the hurricane.
For all we know, she was going to sell the diapers.
She only got caught w/diapers. She may have stolen other items but didn't get caught w/those.
Thanks for that picture. Disturbing image, nonetheless.
Can anyone give an opinion of damage to houses across from Jackson School in the 1400 block Lower Garden district New Orleans?? I have a cousin who needs the information

that was such a large area they were over, was that alll NO, or suburbs off to the east of NO?
First 50 confirmed fatalities for this 2nd landfall of Katrina - I was afraid they'd be coming in batches like that - hope there's not too many more . . .
I'm 53. I guess I'm just stupid.
I hope that you'll be so gracious as to excuse my lack and treat me graciously as would be required of a superior being.
May God have mercy on their souls. This is going to be a horrific death toll.
It had wind speeds of 135 mph when it hit NO, it was a Cat 4.
