Hannity just beat the snot out of Paul Begala live on the air.
The Sean Hannity Show (WABC Radio)

Posted on 08/25/2005 1:53:25 PM PDT by Pukin Dog

I'm not the biggest Hannity fan, but what he just did to Paul Begala was a work of art.

Begala started off with his "Bush is a liar" rhetoric, and Hannity read him a bunch of quotes, to which Begala said were lies, lies, lies.

Then, Hannity told him the truth, that all the quotes came from John Kerry, not George Bush.

Begala was caught so read handed, that he actually said that Kerry's mistake was in believing Bush's lies. Then he tried to attack Hannity for inviting him on his show and lying to him.

I have to give it to Sean Hannity this time, he made Begala look like a blithering idiot.

I like Sean too. We need to support our conservative mouthpieces. If it weren't for them, we would never know the other side of the story. Rush is the best though.

I hope you can get a transcript of the Show to have Rush or Sean play it on their Show. You know Freepers are doing a great job for Conservative Talk guys show prep. All this craziness is just what Rush has said for years. They are out of Power and getting crazier, meaner and more bold with blatant lies. They need to mainline valium. They do not seem to realize the old media cannot cover their crap anymore, the new media will splash it out over the News and Airways in record time.

I agree they are both worth their weight in gold.

Hehehe- they all cut off dissident callers after a point. And, lately, Rush has been resorting to ad hominem rants against libs in general but I just don't think Hannity is capable of going too deep in a debate. Maybe the others have better research staffs or Sean is too busy but he too often reads his debate points over and over. At least the good guy won.

That doesn't really take much to accomplish. Kinda like making The Snake Carville look like a loose cannon.

I bet he made Begala cry like a little girl! It was just a priceless moment. Hoisted on his own petard, Begala was!

Is there any way to listen to this without paying to get on the bulk of Hannity's site?

He repeats arguments in a debate because the more you hear it, the more it sinks in especially if they are good points in the debate. Rush repeats a lot of stuff, and it sinks in like his Rio linda joke. They are very different but each is excellent in their vocation and they are very successful except Rush cannot stay Married.

I would disagree; particularly since he gets paid to be a talk show host and you don't.

A good researcher is like the crew of an artillery battery, loading and aiming the guns for the commander to give the order to fire. Saying that Hannity could not do it alone is a compliment to the talents of his gun crew.

You must be listening to the Bizarro World version of Hannity because he has excellent debating skills. It's possible you don't like him because of his negative comments about Freepers, which weren't all that far from the truth.

You must be from DU.

Just what have you done for the conservative movement? Do you have a top rated TV show nightly? Do you have a radio show 3 hours a day all over the U.S.?

One trick pony? Not hardly - he is a hard worker using his talents. His talents are as needed as the talents of Rush Limbaugh and all other conservative speakers.

Why not use your hate rhetoric AGAINST THE LIBERALS?

Right. Rush has his talents and his type show and Sean uses his talents for his kind of show. They both are great, and needed.

I too get tired of the promoting, the cutting off of discussions with guests for lack of time and then the repetition nightly of the same old stuff from Aruba. I have complained plenty to Sean over time.

But, Sean is using his talents very effectively and he basically is a promoter. Otherwise he would be just a radio host like the tons of others.

Yet, his promotion abilities get us the concerts for the kids, get us the young people drawn to his ability to entertain them. I attended his show here in Dallas and it was really fun. He is going non-stop AND providing a good time for all.

God bless Sean and Rush. Can't think of two more prolific conservative representatives. They are our only recourse to the MSN.

Someone was pulling Hannity's strings. He's not that creative or original.

And YOUR radio talk show is?

Give me a break, I've heard the stupidist stuff on your shows.

Hannity is incapable of extemporaneous debate- unlike Limbaugh, Medved, Coulter, etc- and can only repeat his talking points. Begala is the same so I have to believe it was more a comedy of errors than a debate.

OK big guy, tell us all how you are advancing the cause of conservatism with your attempted fragging of one of our own?
