Two can play the "Abu Ghraib" blame game.

Here is how it is done:

"Able Danger." "Able Danger." "Able Danger." "Able Danger." "Able Danger." "Able Danger." "Able Danger." "Able Danger." "Able Danger." "Able Danger." "Able Danger." "Able Danger." "Able Danger." Ya gotta love the hypocrisy of the MSM. These are people who threw a fit when we dared to show the disheveled pictures of Saddam...or even proof that his sons were killed. Some even went as far to claim Geneva violations, even when there were just glimpses of POWs taken in Iraq.

These same humanitarians also decried the use of photos depicting or recreating the events of 9/11...for fear it would inflame emotional hatred and anger against Muslims. These are interesting concerns when you consider that this same MSM had no problem not only running 50+ days of Abu Ghraib stories (and POWs), but is now demanding access (with the ACU) to even more photos so they can intentionally inflame the emotions of Muslims towards America.

The very hatred and anger towards the USA...that the MSM blames on Bush, has been perpetuated by these same people. Whether it was the flushing Koran story or the inclimate temperatures at Gitmo, our media has been directly responsible for the attitudes and perceptions others have for...and against, this country. And they have the nerve to ask why?...They are the reason why.

The Washington Post already had all these "new" photos and videos a year and a half ago.

I find pictures of terrorists being humiliated rather uplifting.

"The attacks will continue regardless of whether the photos and tapes are released," testified former US Army Colonel Michael Pheneger. Myers, he said, "mistakes propaganda for motivation."

CBS NEWS ONLY TELLS PART OF THE STORY!!!!!!!

Michael Pheneger was ALSO the treasurer of the ACLU in Florida...

Can't the President override FOA rulings by Judges on the basis of national security? Clearly our troops will be at heightened risk if these photos are released, which is exactly what the ACLU wants--more dead Americans and a weakened U.S. resolve. Bush has every right to refuse any court order to release the photos. We are a balance of powers. The SCOTUS is NOT the ultimate authority.

CBS helpfully posted an article from that objective publication the Nation. The MSM has quietly joined the ACLU in a friend of the court action to support the release of these phots and videos even though polls showed the overwhelmingly the American people don't want to see new pictures.

The good news is that the government can appeal any decision and they better. I'm beginning to get tired of the Bush administration's inability to fight an effective PR war. Not just me, read David Frum, Red State. The conservatives are getting weary.

I'd like to ask the ACLU what the point of this is? Abu Ghraib has been investigated, the guilty have been punished - it's over. In my opinion, the only point is to get more anti-Bush and anti-American mileage out of this incident, to inflame Islamist passions once again and get more Americans and Iraqis killed. The ACLU sickens me.

In court proceedings, General Richard Myers argued that releasing the pictures and videos would give aid to the enemy: boosting Al Qaeda recruitment, destabilizing governments in Iraq and Afghanistan and inciting riots throughout the Muslim world.

Which is precisely why the subversive, anti-American ACLU would want to do it in the first place.

While they are releasing pictures do you think that they could release the Vince Foster photos at the same time?

Its not this country's interests CBS is concerned about. Its not the lives of our troops CBS is concerned about. Its not the effect on friendly governments CBS is concerned about. Its not the fact our enemies would be emboldened to commit more atrocities against innocents. What possible news value could there be in releasing more Abu Ghraib photos? The harm caused by the release of the pictures clearly outweighs ANY residual First Amendment value. And in a wartime situation, its not too much to ask an American network to think of our imperative need to win the War On Terror. No, its not about the high-minded pursuit of the facts. Its about two things: facilitating an anti-Bush agenda and the ratings.
